Another early fave as I shake off the post-Thanksgiving cobwebs. Yes, this spot from Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority - LVCVA is fun, colorful, loud and upbeat. Expected. Typical. Par the course, right? Yet, it's still interesting. Let's be real. It's tough to market Sin City differently. Time and again. You want to create something new and engaging, but you need to play to what makes Vegas...well, Vegas. I happen to think this strikes the balance remarkably well as it promotes Las Vegas as the 2024 Super Bowl host city and encourages travel to take in all in. Love the "Excessive Celebration" wrapper, the use of Tobe and Ochocinco and all the subtle and not-so-subtle nods to the city, the big game and all the games to be played in Vegas. Personally, I think the change.org element is a bit much, but I guess the PR guy in me can at least see the thinking in adding a layer to the story (maybe?).
