Our next webinar (Tue 9th October) is relevant to the thermomechanical analysis of motors. If this is a common challenge or bottleneck in your current workflow, you know what to do... Link below to join our Mechanical product manager.
Tomorrow I will be hosting a webinar to get into detail about how SimScale customers utilise advanced structural analysis to design and assess electric motor shaft and rotor interactions. We will be looking at a multistage thermomechanical analysis to replicate an electric motor's most extreme operating conditions including the shrink fit between the shaft and rotor, centrifugal force induced by the rotational speed, maximum torque and thermal loading. These simulations can be pretty resource intensive which is why for such applications SimScale customers experience huge gains in efficiency thanks to unlimited parallel simulation runs and immediate access to machines with over 64 cores and over 500GB of RAM. Use the link below to sign-up for the webinar: https://lnkd.in/eBGP4sze #FEA #MechanicalEngineering #DesignEngineering #ElectricMotors #StructuralAnalysis #CAE #Simulation #Cloud

Electric #powertrain design requires deep understanding of the #structural and #thermal behavior of its components and the cooling cycles (#CFD) around it. My colleague David Short will provide insights on electric motor thermomechanical considerations in this free live webinar: https://lnkd.in/eBGP4sze which should be interesting for #EV enthusiasts as well.

Automobile Research | Electric Vehicles | Product Concept R04 | Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) | Stage XIV Achieved | R&D October 2023 Analyzing the data, it's clear that different nanofluids exhibit performance variations in relation to Thermo-Electric Cooler Temperature (C) fluctuation. Notably, silver nanoparticles (Water Ag) consistently excel across a wide range of C values (2 to 18ยฐC) in both heating and cooling scenarios. The relationship between nanofluid performance and C fluctuation can potentially be modeled mathematically to predict how different nanofluids will behave under varying thermal conditions. Such modeling could provide valuable insights for optimizing nanofluid selection based on specific C fluctuation patterns and application requirements, offering the promise of more informed and efficient thermal management strategies. #ansysย #simulationย #caeย #thisiswhatwedo

๐ญ๐๐๐๏ธ A great testimonial from our customer โJagenberg GmbHโ (Dr. Donatus Weber) using #Simcenter #Amesim for optimizing the Li-Ion #battery #productionmachines. ๐ Some extracts: โThe only way to understand the process is to understand the material in combination with the machine. So in the end, we need a multiphysical simulation to be able to account these challenges.โ โOne possibility that we have found that absolutely perfectly fits our needs is Amesim, the multiphysical simulation where we can simulate the material itself as well as the machine in 1 tool.โ โAnd in the end, we can ramp-up faster, we have a better quality, and we have less waste when it comes up to the starting of the lines.โ #Simcenter #SystemSimulation #Amesim #batterymanufacturing #batteries #electrification #converting #webtension #productionmachines #sustainability #digitaltwin #industry40 #EngineerInnovation
