Reminder: August 2 is 2024 Property Assessment Appeals Deadline
As required by Georgia law, annual notices of assessment were mailed to all Fulton County property owners in June.
Property owners who do not believe their notice of assessment reflects fair market value have until August 2, 2024 to file an appeal. Appeals may be submitted online or at the offices of the Fulton County Board of Assessors.
Property owners can review their 2024 notice or assessment, file an appeal or get more information at www.fultonassessor.org.

Meet Customer Service Legend Brian Reents, a Senior Investigator in the Office of the Fulton County Medical Examiner!
Brian was mentioned in an Atlanta Journal Constitution article regarding his efforts in the recent happenings of shootings and homicides across the metro Atlanta area. He was commended for being caught displaying the compassion and professionalism that is indicative of the Medical Examiner's Office. This kind and yet professional attitude shown by Mr. Reents is known to permeate this office and is displayed dozens of times a day to people who interact with the office.
We applaud you, Mr. Reents, for delivering compassionate customer service in your role to those you encounter.
Meet Customer Service Legends Ciara Thomas and Kimberly Henry, the dynamic duo from the Office of the Fulton County Tax Commissioner, Motor Vehicle Division!
A customer from the Fulton County Schools, Property Control Department, couldn't help but sing their praises. This customer, who was new to their role, needed some serious guidance on processing vehicle tags for a whopping 21 vehicles. Thankfully, Ms. Thomas and Ms. Henry were there to save the day! The customer was beyond grateful for their courtesy, professionalism, and the quote assessment, forms, and information they provided.
Ms. Thomas and Ms. Henry, you truly went above and beyond to make this process a breeze for the customer. Bravo!

Meet Customer Service Legend Iesha Matthews of the Fulton County Finance Department!
A County employee, who fell victim to mail theft, expressed their appreciation for Ms. Matthews for her invaluable assistance during a difficult time. The employee shared that closing their compromised bank account and opening a new one, along with managing other necessary tasks, proved to be a lengthy process. However, they found solace in the fact that updating their account information in the payroll system was surprisingly straightforward, thanks to Ms. Matthews' prompt action.
The employee praised her for promptly sending and processing the required forms, as well as for her immediate response to their calls, eliminating any unnecessary delays. Ms. Matthews' efficiency and care provided immense relief during this challenging and frightening period.
We applaud Iesha Matthews for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting a colleague in their time of need!

In the midst of the Fulton County cyber incident, Mr. Jackson from the County Manager's Customer Service Division left a lasting impression on a customer who couldn't help but sing his praises. Despite the chaos, Mr. Jackson's professionalism and personable nature stood out, providing the customer with remarkable service and guiding them to the right department.
