Seeking engine cadet placement MAN-BW, Cummins, Perkins, Boiler and steam specialist. SolidWorks. MATLAB. Python. Simulink. CMD. MYSQL.
With this i feel will can solve this problem Proposal for Promoting Maritime Cadet Training and Employment in Nigeria The maritime industry plays a pivotal role in Nigeria's economy, yet there exists a pressing need to enhance the training and employment opportunities for maritime cadets. Addressing this issue not only supports economic growth but also ensures a skilled workforce capable of meeting global standards in maritime operations. Proposal 1. Introduction of Incentives for Shipping Companies: Implement incentives or subsidies to encourage shipping companies to engage cadets in voyages within Nigerian waters. These incentives can offset operational costs associated with training and mentoring cadets. 2. Establishment of a Crewing Agent: Create a specialized crewing agent responsible for coordinating cadet placements across various maritime companies operating in Nigerian waters. This agent will streamline the process of matching cadets with available positions. 3. Structured Cadet Contracts: Facilitate the signing of initial 6-month contracts for cadets onboard vessels, with the potential for extension to 12 months based on performance evaluations. This structure ensures cadets gain valuable sea-time while allowing companies to assess their capabilities effectively. 4. Implementation of Selection Tests: Introduce rigorous selection tests as part of the cadet recruitment process. These tests will ensure that only qualified candidates are chosen, thereby maintaining high standards across the maritime workforce. 5. Government Revenue Generation: Enhance government revenue through taxation on cadet stipends and salaries paid by companies. This revenue stream will contribute to national economic growth while supporting maritime education initiatives. 6. Professional Development for Cadets: Provide cadets with essential sea-time experience, enabling them to acquire practical skills and certifications necessary for career advancement in the maritime sector. 7. Benefits to Shipping Companies: Offer subsidies and incentives to participating shipping companies. These benefits will encourage their active involvement in training and mentoring cadets, thereby fostering a skilled and competent maritime workforce. 8. Role of Crewing Companies: Engage specialized crewing companies to oversee the logistical aspects of cadet deployment. These firms will receive fees for their services, ensuring efficient coordination between government entities, shipping companies, and cadets. In conclusion, the proposed initiative presents a strategic framework to bolster maritime cadet training and employment in Nigeria. By incentivizing shipping companies, establishing a dedicated crewing agent, and ensuring structured contracts and rigorous selection processes, this initiative aims to create a mutually beneficial ecosystem where cadets, companies, and the government thrive.

From #Accountant to Corporate #Trainer My name is Elen and this is my story. 28th February 2023 - It was my last day in my previous company Tenaga Nasional Berhad 1st March 2023 - I joined Cad Training Centre There were many emotions (doubtful especially am I taking a risk) Fast forward we are already in 29th February 2024. I am truly grateful to be employed in Tenaga Nasional Berhad. It is a privilege to work under YM Tengku. I learned a lot (many things). I sincerely appreciate my previous employer (ex bosses) for facilitating and navigating my career journey. Moving to CAD Training Centre is like travelling across the multiverse (haha). It is another dimension. To move from Accounting territory to Training dimension was something new I need to adapt and adopt. Nevertheless, I used to teach #MicrosoftExcel to universities, conducting my webinars. Thanks to my previous exposure, I was able to delivered my training skills in which I managed to engage, educate and empower our clients on #MicrosoftExcel. Now my job is just teaching clients #Excel. I don’t do #Accounting anymore (maybe at the moment) Overall, I am happy to stay with my current employment. Initially I was doubtful when I joined CAD Training Centre. Nevertheless, now I can say that its a contentment to be here.
