70% of all cancers that are fatal turn out to be the result of cancers that are not routinely tested for by today’s medical system (e.g., pancreatic cancer, glioblastoma). Most individuals have no symptoms from a growing cancer until it has reached stage-3 or stage-4, by which time the chances of a full remission are vastly reduced. Now, with Fountain Life you can take control of your health. Don't wait for symptoms. Start your journey to a healthier, longer life today: https://lnkd.in/drw5X4d4

➡️The global cancer incidence is projected to increase by 62% between 2018 to 2040. ➡️ In 2019 in the United States, over 1.75 million were diagnosed with cancer, and over 600,000 people died. ➡️ Many factors of cancer are preventable. 👟ACSM recommends 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity every week(equivalent to a brisk walk) and muscle strengthening 2 or more days a week 👟Exercise enhances mental clarity, thinking, improves mood, improves balance and coordination, decreases fatigue, and decreases risk of other chronic diseases 👟Yard work, cleaning, stretching, dancing, leisure sports, aerobic exercise, walking across the parking lot, and using the stairs counts
➡️ For all adults, exercise is important for cancer prevention and specifically lowers risk of seven common types of cancer: colon, breast, endometrial, kidney, bladder, esophagus and stomach ➡️For cancer survivors, incorporate exercise to help improve survival after a diagnosis of breast, colon and prostate cancer ➡️Exercising during and after cancer treatment improves fatigue, anxiety, depression, physical function, quality of life and does not exacerbate lymphedema Download the infographic: https://brnw.ch/21wDudU Learn about the Moving Through Cancer program & access resources: https://brnw.ch/21wDudV
