This report reveals striking differences in #RenewableEnergy growth across regions. In the past decade, Europe built substantial capacity and China saw huge expansion. However, progress lagged in South America, Africa, and the Middle East. Renewables now supply 28% of global electricity - up just 0.2% from 2020 as fossil fuels rebounded. Overall, renewables meet just 8% of total energy demand. This shows the long road ahead to reach net zero emissions targets. Financial support for developing nations stalled in 2021, hindering clean energy progress. With uneven growth, entire regions risk being left behind in the #EnergyTransition. What's the path forward? The world must work together to accelerate renewables deployment globally. We need: ✅ Increased investment and finance for emerging economies ✅ Technology transfer and capacity building ✅ Ambitious commitments from all countries ✅ Local solutions tailored to community needs With inclusive action, we can transition our energy systems and create a sustainable world. But we must act now. The climate crisis demands renewed cooperation and rapid progress for #RenewableEnergy everywhere.
