I'm sharing the steps that I do before and after creating my vision board because I've seen the tangibility that I create when I do these steps to set up my vision board THIS is what makes it *really* work. Of course! I've always been fascinated by technology and its potential to solve complex problems. I found my passion for robotics when I started working with RobCo. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐭? One of the biggest challenges is the gender imbalance in the field, especially in leadership roles. It's essential to create more opportunities for women to enter and advance in robotics careers through mentorship programs, networking events, and initiatives to foster diversity and inclusion. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬? My advice would be to believe in yourself and your abilities. Don't be afraid to pursue your passion for technology, even if it seems like a male-dominated field. Seek out mentors, build your skills through hands-on projects, and never stop learning. If you are a woman in tech, you are in a field with significant gender imbalance. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in areas that nowadays are called digitalization and change management. Technology is something I have grown to love, and I want to encourage more women to give tech a chance. It’s no secret that the #techindustry workforce is largely made up of men. 🤔 According to ‘The Women Tech Network’, In 2022, women only held about 25% of leadership positions and only 14% of the software engineering positions. Aicha Evans, CEO and Director of Zoox, is the first Senegalese-American female CEO of an autonomous vehicle technology company, and she’s here to continue to pave the way for women ceos in tech. In 2020, Evans led the acquisition of Zoox to Amazon for $1.7 billion, and in 2019, she was added to Business Insider’s list of 100 People Transforming Business in Transportation. 👩🔧 So if you are a woman leading a career in tech and feel intimidated by the male-dominated workforce, don’t be!
