Exciting Update from This Week's Milestone at Client Site-Based Teams! This week, I had the privilege of attending Day-600 at one of our esteemed client’s locations in Germany for the evaluation day of their 6th Business Challenge. It's thrilling to see how far they've come since our implementation of the Business Savvy Program! From sustainable implementation to the remarkable growth of maintenance employees, from nurturing leadership qualities to delivering high-quality presentations, has contributed to enhancing business performance. What's truly heartening is the culture of open dialogue that has flourished, fostering collaboration and innovation at every turn. Throughout this journey, our Business Savvy Culture Scan and digital platform, SavvyCademy, have been instrumental in guiding and supporting the teams. They've served as beacons of insight, empowering the teams to make informed decisions aligned with their overarching business goals. What's even more remarkable is the autonomy bestowed upon the teams to select the topics for the next set of Business Challenges. This approach ensures that every initiative undertaken is not just aligned with organizational objectives but also resonates with the collective vision of the teams. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for their unwavering dedication and commitment. It's moments like these that reaffirm the power of collaboration and the limitless possibilities it brings forth. #BusinessSavvy #TeamDevelopment #BusinessSuccess Royal HaskoningDHV NEXXT Worley Wood Fugro Fluor Corporation McDermott International, Ltd DEME Group Jacobs Bechtel Corporation level3 Project Delivery Services Vanderlande Shell TIAS School for Business and Society Acteon Group #BusinessSavvy #ContinuousLearning #CorporateCulture #Innovation #SavvyCademy #BusinessChallenge

Existing industry is Oconee County's top priority and we are always working to support our businesses that have made the commitment to invest and strengthen their local facilities, as well as maintain or create new jobs in Oconee County. Our manufacturers are some of the most respected in the U.S. and world, and their contributions to our community are undeniable. When they invest in new production lines and the modernization of their facilities it has a direct and positive benefit to their current employees by enhancing the operation's competitiveness and ensuring the long-term viability of their Oconee location and the company itself. These companies have choices as to where they invest their dollars and what facilities they will grow. If it isn't in their Oconee location, it will very likely be another facility inside or outside the U.S. and it is those locations that then become more viable in the future. We appreciate all that our existing industry does for Oconee County and being a partner that is ready to assist them with their local facility growth plans. #OconeeCountySC #OconeeSC #OconeeEconomicDevelopment #OEA #OconeeSCIndustry #TopShelf4Business

It would be difficult to celebrate our 70th anniversary without recognizing the single most important transformation in Gateway's history - our strategic decision to become a Project Focused Organization (PFO). The Project Focused Organization is an organizational philosophy and structure in which individual projects are the focal element, where everyone and everything in the organization is focused on the selling and executing of projects. The term PFO was first introduced to our President Emeritus, Daniel S. Deiseroth, P.E., when attending a seminar on the philosophy. It was there that Dan met Bob Maxman, an industry professional providing management consultant and support services to architectural, engineering and construction firms. With Bob's guidance, Gateway adopted the PFO structure and hired Mike Zavoina in 1998 as its CEO. The transformation from a traditional, department-based organization to a project focused organization ensured that client projects were always the main focal point of the business. Today, Gateway's practice as a PFO continues to fuel our growth and operational excellence and is one of our core brand pillars: People, Projects, and Purpose. #GatewayEngineers #PeopleProjectsAndPurpose #CivilEngineering #70Years

INSW is proud to support the Construction Industry Culture Taskforce (CICT), an initiative aimed at improving the sustainability and productivity of the construction industry through the development of a Culture Standard. The CICT is funded by the NSW and Victorian Governments, and the Australian Constructors Association: https://lnkd.in/gqpVMCm The Culture Standard is being piloted on 5 projects which represent a range of construction projects of different sizes, types and contract models. The team have been tracking the impact of the Culture Standard on the experience of the workforce, the productivity of the project and detect any areas where further support is required for effective implementation. To read more about the research highlighting the experience of the pilot projects who run under a draft Culture Standard, check the CICT Interim Report here: https://lnkd.in/evWZktwX
We would like to thank each of the Pilot Projects for their commitment and enthusiasm to trialling the Culture Standard. These very busy teams generously shared their experiences to ensure we capture valuable lessons in the CICT Interim Report. We are looking forward to continuing the journey together. Seymour Whyte, Fulton Hogan, John Holland, McConnell Dowell, Roberts Co, School Infrastructure NSW, Health Infrastructure, Infrastructure NSW, Transport for NSW, Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority, Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects Victoria The framework provided within the Culture Standard allows for projects to identify and implement initiatives that work for the project’s specific situation. In addition to delivering on project requirements, the pilot projects manage individual working hours and are implementing a variety of initiatives to address the elements of the Culture Standard.
