On Wednesday we welcomed MPs to our first parliamentary reception of with the new government at the House of Commons celebrating the achievements of the food & drink manufacturing industry. We showcased the positive impact our businesses have, not only on the economy - highlighted with data from our latest regional report, but also in our communities across their regions and constituencies, featuring member stories and some of the great work our businesses are already doing. Alongside our members, we spoke to MPs about the sector's need for investment, economic growth, and innovation and how we can partner to ensure a secure future for food and drink, asking them to pledge their support for food and drink manufacturers in the UK. Thank you to all our members who attended yesterday and made it such a great event. Nourishing and innovative To everyone who pledged their support to the food and drink sector today, and to our speaker Minister of State Daniel Zeichner, and our sponsor Clarke Energy - Thank you!
