Another extremely important one that's been on my heart lately....and I'm working on, is... Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
This is terrifying so I may just shut up altogether. I say in jest, but in all seriousness, it's terrifying.
My mission is to help the world discover the power of connecting with the special needs and disabled communities. How will I do this?
The better question is "how can WE do this?"
Nothing great has ever been achieved by one person. I'm learning more every day that there is a need in our world to spread awareness around the value of connecting with and supporting these communities. There are hundreds of organizations across the globe with a similar mission.
With that being said, my mission is to help these organizations inspire the world to get involved and realize a life-changing level of fulfillment as a result, one person at a time.
Check out my blog below for more on my story and the inspiration behind this mission.

Trust through Transparency:
By modeling humility and radical honesty in our interactions with clients and the larger community, we create psychological safety and foster trust.
Progress through Partnership:
Working with a network of people not places enables us to prioritize the needs of our clients above the needs of organizations.
Change through Community:
Through community education and involvement, we can turn adversaries into advocates and reduce hostility between the housed and unhoused.
Creating & Clearing Paths to Stability with the Chronically Homeless | Executive Director of Anything Helps
Exciting news! The Anything Helps board recently outlined the three key principles that will drive our efforts in addressing #homelessness.
Trust through Transparency: By modeling humility and radical honesty in our interactions with clients and the larger community, we create psychological safety and foster trust.
Progress through Partnership: Working with a network of people not places enables us to prioritize the needs of our clients above the needs of organizations.
Change through Community: If we empower communities to address homelessness, then we will turn adversaries into advocates and reduce hostility between the housed and unhoused.

Day 7: Privileges - A call to recognise where you have been given a Godly nod to serve.
1. Serving our parents in childhood and even in their old age
2. Parenting: Like God saw that you were able to bring forth, nurture His children who are signs and wonders.
3. Serving community: To do your part by proper disposal of rubbish, joining with others to effect changes like ensuring no homes drain running water into roads, doing your job well ( Workplace ethics). If you are not able to, as part of service, don't worsen the community.
4. Serving God: Doing His will by discipling our Families first before anybody else.

When it comes to foster care, this is literally the only innovation to the program that makes any sense. With violent and often mentally unstable youth ending up in foster care due to state legislation, this is the least the state can do. Let’s not wait until they are homeless and addicted to drugs or trafficked to support intervention services. If First 5 funds the Effective Parenting Initiative to offer early intervention to parents, let’s not sideline the importance of adopting intervention as a strategy!

📚 Introducing a groundbreaking book that shines a light on a pressing issue: "The Two Parts Of The Book And The Issue Of Separating Children From Parents At The US-Mexico Border." 💔✨
In 2017, the former administration attempted a drastic measure - separating children from their parents when crossing from Mexico into the US, regardless of their familial ties. This compelling book unveils the heartbreaking consequences of this policy and the challenges faced by the federal government in 2020.
One of the major hurdles was the lack of appropriate facilities to house these children, as this had never been done before. With limited options for their parents, many were deported, leaving behind a vulnerable and scattered group of children in the US. These children were then placed in the federal foster care system, desperately searching for relatives who could provide them with a sense of stability and love.
Now, in 2023, over 5000 families remain separated, with some children not having seen their parents for six long years. The journey towards reunification continues, as dedicated organizations and individuals strive to solve these complex and heart-wrenching cases.
