Absolutely true. This is the foundation for reaching people and helping them. In 'n world where there is often so much cold shoulder, kindness is rare. Yet it was the trademark of our Lord Jesus. With you in this all the way Focus.
Just Ask
Have you ever needed help but did not ask for it?
Ha! Who has not?
What is the benefit of not asking? Why does seeking help feel—well—like helplessness?
The funny thing is people are waiting to be asked to help! Really!
It feels great to help someone. Online MealTrain was birthed from this very thing.
Right now, chances are, your City needs help. That help begins with prayer.
You can be the answer.
Does this sound like a huge ask? I have designed a 12-week devotional. 12 topics, one for each week, for you to pray with others. A community praying for their community.
A community asking God for help for their City. Who else can provide the solution?

Another bright spot for taking your kids to church?
When a church member hears: "Hey that's the guy from our church," three things happen.
First, that guy is encouraged because a child recognized him outside of the four walls. That means both have been in church. Somehow, he has encouraged that child or invested in his young life. He walks away smiling and ready to face another hurdle in the day or simply ready to look for someone needing encouragement.
Second, the child lets the parent know they have claimed ownership of their church. That's huge in the life of a young family with children and a testament to the volunteers who are investing in the lives of children. When children enjoy attending church they let people know about it.
Third, God receives a verbal acknowledgement that church is both beneficial to those who attend and those who invest in doing the work of God. Those listening in on a simple conversation are hearing the fellowship of Christ's followers and are witnessing "they will know you are my disciples by your love for one another."
Take your children, take your family to church. Volunteer. Invest in the lives of families. Not just for your sake, but to be obedient in proclaiming Him to the world.

This is a great example of how brands of all kinds can be using authentic conversations to connect with their audience in an engaging way. Through her podcast, Stacy has figured out that sweet spot where her passions, skills, and audience needs converge.
It reminds me of the Ikigai Framework which comes from a Japanese concept meaning “a reason for being”. Applied to content marketing, it can serve as a guide to help you produce content that’s not only fulfilling to create but also deeply resonates with your audience and drives your orgnazations mission and business forward.
The key is finding the intersections between:
1. What you love (your brand’s passion),
2. What you are good at (your brand’s skills),
3. What the world needs (your audience’s needs),
4. What you can be paid for (content that drives revenue).
At the end of the day you want a foundation for content that is not only impactful and engaging but also true to your brand’s identity and goals, ensuring every piece of content you create is a step toward fulfilling your brand’s purpose.
What's the big deal about community? Should we stick to online and leave the meeting together for others?
Does God really care that I go to church?
These and other questions were answered on our most recent episode of Constant Faithful Secure - "To Church or Not to Church"
