🌟 Thrilled to share our recent project for the Data Mining and Machine Learning course! 🌟 Our team built a Rainfall Prediction model using a linear regression algorithm. With the help of this project, my teammates Waiz Khan , Ahmad K and I developed a machine learning model to predict rainfall. The following steps were taken into consideration: 1. Data collection 2. Data preprocessing 3. Exploratory data analysis 4. Model selection 5. Model evaluation 6. Deployment 7. New paper out with Nathanael Sheehan and Federico Botta comparing different forms of open governance of sequencing data. We used mixed methods (extensive data mining, network analysis, bibliometrics and philosophical/historical framing) to investigate how data infrastructures can facilitate collaboration from different countries around the globe & how data reuse can enhance forms of diversity between institutions, countries, and funding groups https://lnkd.in/dYgtJydp

Project 10: Project: Shark Attacks Analysis Visualization Tool: Power BI Dataset provided by Quantum Analytics NG Overview: This is a data analysis project on shark attacks reported over the past 100 years. The analysis will shed light on the frequency and patterns of these incidents, including the distribution of attacks by gender and age group, the prevalent shark species involved, and the geographical locations where attacks occur most frequently.
