Alongside being recognized as one of the top workplaces in Utah for 2023, Priority Dispatch was recognized for its focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Here's what we were told about how the process went: Energage sent a questionnaire to the 2023 Utah Top Workplaces regarding their DEI efforts. The detailed questionnaire gave companies an opportunity to share what they are doing around DEI, such as recruiting and hiring; compensation and benefits; professional development; employee involvement; and visible commitment. Each of the companies that responded was given a score by Energage based on the questionnaire responses. Six of them stood out. We're proud to be one of those six. Today was all about intentional parenting! Invited my kiddo into my work world, sharing the ropes and showing her the ins and outs of what I do. She has always seen me working from home so I took her to one of our stores in Huntsville, Alabama. She took over the conference room, taught her pretend class, came to my office and “graded papers.” It’s clear she wants nothing to do with what I do but she loved the work environment! Lol 🌐💼 It's crucial to bridge that gap between home and office, fostering understanding and curiosity.
