The 1 to this, is making sure your platforms (LI, FB, even GAds if you're running non-brand) are optimizing to the right event. Form fills ain't it. Neither are all calls. Tell your ad platforms ONLY about events/users/form submissions you deem qualified (vs all of them) and optimize to that. Most don't because CPL goes up and it's scary. Here's how I've done this: 👉 Listen to sales demos and interview 5-10 customers 👉 Pull out common threads: problems they have, questions they ask, how your product fits in their day-to-day 👉 Use that for messaging and segmentation 👉 Fix the conversion process on your website (i.e. make it insanely easy to book a call, get pricing, see the freaking product) 👉 Create some MVP campaigns with the messaging from customer research 👉 Put those on LinkedIn and Facebook 👉 Dramatically reduce spending waste in Google Ads (maybe kill them altogether of you have to - looking at you branded search) Or, keep going to a single event or conference at a time while making "sales enablement" content no one uses. #b2bmarketing #saasmarketing
