Keith Posendek was promoted to pharmacy director at Firelands Health. Keith oversees in- and outpatient pharmacy operations and the pharmacy residency program. He has served as clinical pharmacy coordinator since March 2023. Keith joined the medical center with a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Findlay, completion of a pharmacy practice residency at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital and is board-certified in pharmacotherapy, geriatrics and cardiology. Tonight, Juliet from our behavioral health team will be recognized by The Ohio Hospital Association at their recognition dinner. She was nominated for The Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year Award. Congrats to Juliet and all the other candidates!

In light of Cancer Survivors Day, Lori shared her story of survival with us. We hope that all those with cancer can find hope in her story and that survivorship is possible. Lori says: "Everybody handles their journey differently and I really feel like I was strong and I feel like I handled it with grace. Not that it was easy. I don't ever want to let anybody think it was easy because it's not. No one's journey is easy when you have cancer. It just made me become a stronger person."
