Halloween must be near because Marketing Job Descriptions are getting a lil spooky 👻 🎃 I'm seeing far too many 'Marketing Manager' roles that look like this, and often more junior roles too. You'll be responsible for: -Managing PR agencies -Branding -Social Media Strategy -Content Creation -Social Media Management -Influencer Management -Campaign Analysis and Reporting -Organising Events This isn't a job, it's at least 6! 🛑 I get it, smaller companies can't always afford a marketing team, and some responsibilities go hand in hand BUT do your job descriptions in different functions look like this? ➡ I doubt it. Spreading someone this thin will decrease your output, think carefully about what you really need, and hire for that (one) role. #Marketing #Hiring #JobListings

I can't believe this is still a thing, but here we are. Reading a single job description for a Social Media Manager these days is like reading a wish list for a Marketing department.
