Empowering financial well-being isn't just a goal - it's a necessity in our communities, homes, and workplaces! This week, we proudly took the spotlight as the platinum sponsor at the UK Government's Financial Inclusion Conference 2024—an event that couldn't have come at a more crucial time. With 42% of working-age UK households facing serious financial challenges and money worries surpassing even health concerns, the urgency to bridge the financial inclusion gap has never been clearer. Our highlight? Engaging in a riveting panel discussion alongside luminaries like Dr. Pal Vik, Mick McAteer , and Ben Perkins 🏳️🌈 But the real thrill was hosting our dynamic keynote, "Empowering Financial Wellbeing: The SmartPurse Blueprint for Inclusion and Education." To everyone who joined us, thank you for being part of the conversation! Did you miss the conference? Wondering how you can turn financial literacy into a corporate advantage? If we seek to cultivate a financially empowered nation and workforce, a big part of the solution lies in prioritizing financial education. #GEfinancialinclusion

Six years ago, we were thrilled to partner and support what was then CFSI (now Financial Health Network) and their mission to drive financial sector action on consumer financial health. Our collaborative effort gave birth to the Financial Health Pulse, a groundbreaking initiative that set out to measure, and set a standard for measuring, the percentage of financially healthy (and unhealthy) households in America, track changes over time, and serve as a North Star metric to galvanize system change. We’re proud to see how it has continued to evolve from a singular annual survey to a robust, quarterly platform that gives detailed insights into the financial lives of American households across demographics. And we’re even more proud of the impact it’s had. The Financial Health Pulse has enriched our understanding of complex financial health dynamics, and inspired financial services firms, policymakers, and others to take action to improve outcomes for all households. This week, the Financial Health Network has released a retrospective that details these contributions to systems change and offers key considerations for others looking to drive systems change through measurement. We’re truly honored to be a part of these initiatives. And though we’ve come a long way, we realize there is still much further to go. We stand ready to continue our support. Thanks Financial Health Network for the truly important and impactful work you’re doing!
What can financial health measurement teach us about using data to drive systems change? When we first began measuring financial health in 2018, a portrait of #finhealth in the U.S. was just starting to take shape. Over the last six years, the #FinHealthPulse has established annual benchmarks for #financialhealth, illuminating the financial lives of people across America. In this special retrospective, we explore: - How the Pulse has changed our understanding of what it means to be Financially Healthy - Its influence on financial services providers, policymakers, and others to improve financial well-being - Learnings from the Pulse about using #measurement as a systems change tool Thank you to Flourish Ventures for funding this brief. https://hubs.li/Q02lY5JZ0
