I had a great time meeting other data-driven leaders at the #peopleanalyticsexchange in Minneapolis last week. It was energizing to hear how the conversation around people analytics has evolved from data collection & reporting to driving actionable business insights, i.e., how can I use this data to improve our bottom line? A few key themes stood out: 💡 Data ≠ Insights: People teams are constantly being asked for metrics, but that data has limited impact without drawing the insights that connect to business outcomes. It's not just about having more data; it's about making that data work for you. 📈 AI has 10x'd the impact of people data: The implications of AI in people analytics were present in every conversation. AI not only saves time on manual data analysis and visualization; it unlocks the power to derive meaningful, actionable insights. 📊 Bottom line impact: People analytics is critical to business performance. Employee experience correlates with customer satisfaction; retention directly impacts bottom line. These are the same themes that led us to found Arbor.
