Today, at our Ancona shipyard, we celebrated the keel laying of “Four Seasons I”, the first ultra-luxury vessel in construction for Four Seasons Yachts. The ceremony was attended, among others, by Nadim #Ashi, Owner and Executive Chair of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, Owner/Joint Operator Four Seasons Yachts, and Founder and CEO of Fort Partners, Bart Carnahan, President, Global Business Development, Portfolio Management and Residential, Four Seasons, welcomed by our General Manager Merchant Ships Division Luigi #Matarazzo, and our Ancona shipyard Director Gilberto #Tobaldi. During the event, three specially chosen coins have also been welded onto the bottom of the ship as a symbol of good luck and to bless the vessel. Scheduled for delivery in 2025, “Four Seasons I” will set a new standard for luxury at sea, incorporating the very latest in environmental protection technologies. A wonderful day in Ancona for the float out ceremony of Viking #Vesta, the newest cruise ship we are building for Viking. The ceremony was attended, among others, by Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking and by Gilberto #Tobaldi, our Ancona shipyard director, and marked the ship’s first touch with water. The vessel, that will enter in service in 2025, will join the Viking’s ocean ships fleet, along with its sister ship Viking Vela. Thanks to high-efficiency engines and systems that minimize exhaust gas pollution, Viking ships are built to meet the strictest environmental standard, providing a virtuous example of sustainable shipbuilding. Through our historical partnership with Viking, further strengthened by the recently signed contract for the construction of two additional ships, we are proud to bring a green and innovative future on board. #Fincantieri #FutureOnBoard #Cruise #Shipbuilding #Sustainability
