365 days in the spotlight The trade fair takes place in October. Isn't it too early to announce the trade fair theme already? "Certainly not," says Bömer. "Some may be under the impression that GrootGroenPlus only takes place those three days a year. And that does apply to the physical trade fair in Zundert, but with the GrootGroenPlus platform, we put the spotlight on the industry 365 days a year. To emphasize this, registration for the next edition of the trade fair always starts on the Friday of the current trade fair. Throughout the year, participants can benefit from the attention generated by the platform in various ways.' In addition to the Kwekersbode, which comes out twice a year, there is the online news platform GGP.news. This puts the GrootGroenPlus trade fair in the spotlight, and also presents current international news and information about market developments, green projects, companies, products, and events in the tree nursery industry throughout the year. "We believe it is important that everyone can easily connect to the platform, which generates attention for and from the industry 365 days a year," says Bömer. "Furthermore, we have partnered with trade magazine Boom in Business, which also provides the trade fair catalogue - for us, this is the ideal way to reach the entire breadth of our audience." https://lnkd.in/eF36qJ_E David Bömer Erik Bastiaensen Corianne Oudijk Frans van Wanrooij Didier Hermans Chantal van Kuyck Frank van Suchtelen Huub Snijders #boomteelt #inthepicture #inthespotlight #vakbeurs #GrootGroenPlus

🎡 In Luxembourg it's time for Schueberfouer when the summer holidays are nearly at the end. 🎢 The first known Schouberfouer (Schuebi) took place in 1298 under Heinrich VII, father of Jean de Luxembourg (John the Blind). At this time it was a market where people from all over the country came to buy and sell cloth. This fair was however not very successful and stopped again a few years later. 🐄 The Schouberfouer as we know it today, eventually took place on 20 October 1340 under the famous John the Blind, count of Luxembourg and King of Bohemia (Böhmen). The fair went on for 8 days and its main goal was for farmers to come into town and buy/sell cattle. 🏰 The origin of the name is from the place where the Fouer took place, which was the “Schuedbuerg” nowadays known as Plateau du Saint-Esprit. Over the years the fair become more and more successful so the Holy Ghost Square was soon too small. It therefore moved to Limpertsberg in 1610 where the forest had just been cut down. In the 18th century the market developed and live concerts became part of it only to be succeeded in 1844 with cabarets. Although it still remained a cattle-market, you could now also buy bone china, comestibles and stationary. When, in the 20th century, the big wheel and the roller coaster arrived, there was no more stopping its development into the fair that we know today. The big fun fair this year is on from 23 August until 11 September. #funfair #luxembourg #bigwheel #historty #knowledgesharing #curiosity #tradition

After the trade fair is before the trade fair... The #Emo2023 is behind us 🤗 Months of intensive planning and preparation, coordination and optimization. And then, suddenly, it's all over in just a few days.... EMO was an experiment for us this time. For the first time, we exhibited together with our GESCO SE sister MAE. Group at the same booth. And everyone involved agrees: the collaboration was a complete success! Not only were our joint customers now able to meet both suppliers at one and the same booth, thus saving themselves quite a bit of walking, but we were also able to inspire some existing customers who only use "one MAE" in their production to also use "one Kesel" and vice versa. Synergies in the service business were also discussed, such as mutual support at customer sites. The EMO was also a success beyond that. Many good discussions with existing and new customers about known and future projects, in direct conversation with people, have made the fair exciting, informative and worth experiencing. We are glad to finally be able to enter into such an intensive exchange with our customers and partners again in such a short time. Trade fairs connect. And not just again at EMO. Visit us at our other trade fairs as well. One thing is certain in any case (Spoiler Alert!): At the next #Emo2025, Kesel and MAE will be back in a double pack - and maybe even sooner! How was EMO for you? #forceprecision #machineconstruction #tradefair #KeselConnect

You know perfectly well that participating in fairs is not a waste of time! Last Monday we wrote about industry events. It turns out that this is an excellent way to solve many problems faced by joinery distributors. How can participation in fairs or other events affect the functioning of the company? 👉 Stagnation in acquiring new customers: Participation in fairs allows you to focus on actively acquiring new customers by presenting your services and establishing direct relationships with potential recipients. 👉 Lack of current knowledge about market trends: During the fair, we have the opportunity to see the offers of many manufacturers in one place, which allows us to follow the latest trends and access to innovative solutions. 👉 Ignorance of the manufacturers' product offer: The fair provides the opportunity to establish contact with many joinery manufacturers in one place, which speeds up the process of selecting new suppliers and enables comparison of the product offer. 👉 Lack of training and competence development: Participation in training and workshops during the fair allows you to develop competences and acquire knowledge about technological innovations.
