How to Develop our communities economically?
1. Partner with businesses in the community.
Partnering with businesses such as a smaller restaurant in your area, or schools to raise funds for upcoming events, etc.
2. Leverage Municipal resources to support and grow local businesses.
This means finding ways for you to support your community financially, developing financial resources for those in the area, financially supporting individuals in the area who have a lack of financial resources, etc. This can also bounce off the first point of helping smaller businesses advance.
3. Hold Local Representatives accountable.
This can be done through election season, and attending candidates' pep rallies and asking them what they can do for your community. Once elected, you can reach out to these individuals and express your concerns about boosting the economic status of your community. This can be done through town hall meetings as well.
