I had the great privilege to tour Blaine Manor apartments recently. A housing project for low-income seniors in Hailey, ID. This project developed by ARCH COMMUNITY HOUSING TRUST INC was a recipient of an affordable housing grant from Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines in partnership with Wells Fargo and is a great example the benefit of FHLBanks working with local lenders to support affordable housing. #FHLBanks #AffordableHousing

It's ✨Member Monday✨ and today we are celebrating all of the fantastic Utah members who helped bring more than $10 million in FHLB Des Moines grant funds in 2023. Earlier this month, our Affordable Housing Advisory Council met in Park City, Utah, to learn from academics, policy makers, funders and practitioners about the state’s affordable housing needs and ways the Bank’s Community Investment products can support them. Additionally, the Advisory Council toured a local project that received an Affordable Housing Project award through Zions Bancorporation that provides safe, affordable housing for households impacted by domestic violence. Utah members and community partners also gathered in Salt Lake City to learn about our Affordable Housing Products and held a discussion on the community development needs in Utah.
