On the second day of the workshop organised by the Jordan Payments & Clearing Company (JoPACC), we delved into the fascinating world of Islamic Supply Chain Finance. Mr. Basel Al-Hussien from the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) expertly led this session. Key topics included: ✅ Conventional Banking vs. Islamic Banking: Understanding the fundamental differences. ✅ Islamic Supply Chain Finance: Key principles and applications. ✅ Murabaha Financing: A comprehensive overview. ✅ Islamic Solutions for Factoring: Exploring factoring, Shariah considerations, sale of debt structures, and Musawamah & Wakalah structures. ✅ Common Islamic Finance Products: How they apply to supply chain finance. Thank you to ITFC and Mr. Basel Al-Hussein for providing this insightful programme. Since its inception in January 2008, ITFC has been instrumental in advancing trade among OIC member countries, contributing to the socioeconomic development of people worldwide. With over US$69 billion in financing provided, ITFC is a leading trade solution provider. We look forward to applying these Islamic finance principles to enhance supply chain finance strategies to support Jordanian Banks and corporations. #IslamicFinance #SupplyChainFinance #IslamicBanking #Murabaha #Factoring #ShariahCompliance #ITFC #JoPACC #itfcadvisory #itfccorp #FCI #receivables #finance
