Building great communities is a team effort, and I’m grateful for the strong partnership we have with the Town of Sahuarita Mayor Tom Murphy and town manager, Shane Dille. I’m on the phone with Shane or Tom on a regular basis and we have standing meetings for our teams to address challenges quickly and keep projects on track. "Let's be more open with our lived experience when we apply for a new post" says Ben Parsonage, Senior Consultant in our Local Government practice. In this short article, Ben explores how leaders with lived experience can bring a better understanding of the needs and concerns of the community, as well as provide a fresh perspective on how to address and solve problems.
