Flipping the ADA back to it's 2008 meaningfulness. Chronic Illness & PWD warrior striving to see intelligent patients recognized with improved Care & Employment Plan outcomes. It is all HCM.
This is just to remind you guys (can't tag Mercy tho I followed them) that nobody from HR has called me back about the competency deficit in one of your doctors and the faulty original assignment to that doctor for me... It would be embarrassing to tell everyone what he did and I haven't tagged him yet. But I did talk to one of your HR resources and explain that I have retained a lawyer and I'm going to sue you guys big time as big as I can and I'm going to go find a bunch of people and I'm probably going to look for a class action... I don't want to do that. I would rather you guys understand the cost savings that I bring to the table... there is no need to send me to endless doctor appointments anymore. SoonerCare is a government program and I want to save it as much money as possible, while receiving accurate treatment. I need one PCP appointment per quarter, one medication, and one IV treatment, and braces for sleeping. You also knew that I had neurosurgery but you would not refer me to neuro for follow-up even though my follow-up is overdue because that doctor does not accept my insurance. I have the right to reject treatment. I also have the right to sue you because you did not refer me to any doctor that can actually help me and then you kicked me out of your care. I still have not filled out the negative feedback for that doctor at all because I didn't want him to get in trouble because it's not his fault.... he is restricted by his own training to have confidence in himself. If that doctor's office called me and expressed the misunderstanding by the doctor and their ability to trust their own competency.... I would even go back to that doctor. Y'all can skip the shame of apology. I also realize that I have the right to make a big o sign and to sit my ass in front of your hospital.... and my temperature intolerance issues are remediated by the springtime. My direct line is 817-344-9125. As of 5/6/24 there will be no voicemail... y'all somehow service people with no phone. If I don't get your call, please indicate here what the reply number is. I formally release you of any efforts that you are making to ensure my right to privacy. You can release all of my PII as necessary. In fact you can also release all of my health records out here in the public or anywhere you want. https://lnkd.in/g2Xm9iUA

Understanding ourselves to better understand others: In the heart of the Elder care community, we find not just individuals, but a variety of identities, each as unique and intricate as the next. As care partners, we're not just tasked with tending to physical needs; we're entrusted with nurturing the essence of personhood that makes each individual who they are. Identity is about the sum of our experiences, our passions, and the tapestry of relationships and cultures that shape us. It's about the stories we carry, the joys we cherish, and the lessons we've learned along the way. In this journey as care partners, it's essential to recognize and celebrate this richness of identity and to foster an environment where each person feels seen, heard, and valued for who they are. It's about honoring the passions that light up the eyes and the histories that shape our lives. Honoring your identity and the identity of those around you goes beyond recognition—it's about genuine connection. Imagine the wealth of knowledge and wisdom we could uncover if we approached each other with genuine curiosity, eager to learn about the experiences and passions that make us uniquely who we are. People are complex beings, and therein lies the beauty of humanity. We all bring something different to the table, and it's in embracing this diversity that we truly thrive. In each moment you commit to fostering an environment of respect and understanding, you are consciously creating space for the fullness of interests and experiences that connect us as human beings. #EmbraceIdentity #healthcareadministration #persondirectedcare #carepartnerteams #HealthcareLeadership

In a world where time flies, and priorities shift, remember the profound truth underpinning thriving communities: caring. Anthony J. D'Angelo said it best, "Without a sense of CARING, there would be no COMMUNITY." At Right at Home, we cherish this truth. Caring isn't just a feeling; it's a force that enriches lives and forges connections. It's the backbone of compassion that echoes through our streets. When we care for each other, we ignite a ripple effect of kindness. Every vibrant community thrives on genuine concern for each other's well-being. Whether it's a friendly check-in or rallying behind local causes, these acts of care weave the tapestry of togetherness. In our work at Right at Home Milwaukee South, we witness the power of caring firsthand. From assisting with daily tasks to offering companionship, our caregivers embody this spirit. But caring doesn't stop there – it extends to our entire community. Caring isn't just a virtue; it's the cornerstone of community. It binds us and empowers us to build a better world together. Join us in nurturing a culture of caring, kindness, and empathy. Together, we create communities where everyone thrives. 💙 #CaringCommunity #CommunityMatters #RightAtHome #KindnessMatters

LEADERSHIP STRATEGIST. Embrace the CARE Principles 20-step method to grow yourself and your organization, achieving excellence IN and FOR the world.
If we don't care, who will? In the quest for change and a better future, every step, every voice, and every act of care counts. Inspired by the passionate work of FRED & FARID - a purpose-driven agency for Fridays for Future U.S., I'm reminded daily of the power and urgency of care—not just for ourselves, but for people and our planet. Crafting The Care Principles was a commitment, not just a moment of inspiration. It's a beacon and personal purpose that guides me, especially in a non-caring world, where conservative powers and traditional forces have loud voices. However, that is no reason to quit, to give up, to not fight back 🥊 The resilience to continue, to stand firm against the tide, is fueled by the vibrant community of change-makers I encounter every day—those who see beyond profit, who push for change in their own way, and who are not afraid to show leadership that comes from the heart 🫶 An increasing number of professionals are shaking off the chains of archaic 'command and control' systems, yearning for environments that nurture empowerment and personal evolution 💪 With every generation, the push grows for sustainable solutions ✅ There is a rising collective that refuses to stay silent in the face of toxic leadership, disrespect, and the abuse of power in any form 👊 So, to anyone out there who's feeling the weight of this journey, remember to stand tall. You're part of a broader, diverse movement that spans generations and genders, all uniting for a shared vision of a better world. Who cares wins 💕 Because in the end, if we don't care, who will? #care #changeMakers #SustainableFuture #LeadershipFromTheHeart #thecareprinciples
