Many thanks to Soline Bonnaud and the rest of the Airbus team who attended the professional talk for students at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences last week, shared their valuable insights with our students and of course the open positions at one of the largest and most innovative industries in Germany. It's also an important reminder for students to understand the power of career events and developing skills outside of the classroom. As students, you often find yourselves engrossed in textbooks and lectures, but let's take a moment to emphasize the pivotal role that participation in career events plays in shaping your success. 🌐 Why Attend Career Events? 💡 1. Networking Opportunities: Career events open doors to valuable connections. Meeting industry professionals and like-minded peers can lead to mentorship, collaborations, and even future job opportunities. 💡 2. Industry Insights: Textbooks provide knowledge, but industry events offer a real-world perspective. Learning from professionals who've navigated the field enriches our understanding and helps bridge the gap between theory and practice. 💡 3. Discovering Opportunities: Companies present at career events are actively seeking talent. Attendees have the chance to explore various career paths, internships, and even discover roles they may not have considered before. Keeping that in mind, I'm thrilled at the prospect of seeing more and more students engaging in these invaluable opportunities. Each event you attend, each skill you hone, is a step closer to the kick-off of your extraordinary career!
🌍Empowering Global perspectives while representing international students ✈️ Thrilled to have been part of the Airbus professional talk at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences ,promoting the incredible opportunities for early career at Airbus! I was really happy to share my personal journey within the aerospace industry and offer insights into the exciting world of Airbus as a working student in Satair. Is English the main language? Which position can I apply to as a student? What are the different types of activities at Airbus? All those topics and many more were openly shared and discussed! These initiatives are crucial to connect student with the professional world. It was an honour to contribute to the dialogue about the importance of embracing diversity, especially among international students who play a pivotal role in shaping tomorrow’s professional environment. It was really nice to participate to this event with Laura Sainton and Thomas Vielwerth who also shared their experience! Thank you to Aviad Thenhaoser for organizing this event. #diversity #internationalstudents #careertalks

🎓 Univerzita Hradec Králové has become a strategic partner of CSG Aerospace. The CSG Aerospace division has entered into another collaboration with academia, this time with Univerzita Hradec Králové. On behalf of Univerzita Hradec Králové rector Kamil Kuča and head of the Centre for Advanced Technologies Richard Cimler. 💡 The partnership establishes a framework for the implementation of joint industrial research and experimental development and also underlines the strategic intention of the CSG Aerospace division to increase its own technological level and excellence. It focuses on key areas of technological development such as artificial intelligence, big data, robotic and autonomous systems, forward-looking sensor systems and situational awareness tools. But it's not just about technology! 🎓 CSG Aerospace also supports talent development and is actively involved in student activities. We are looking forward to joint projects and activities. ➡Important week of discussions on the future of #Skills. Glad to have participated today in the Automotive Skills Alliance’s conference ‘Skills (R)Evolution in the Automotive-Mobility Ecosystem’. Quoting Ms Lorena Ionita, Deputy Head of Unit at the European Commission’s DG GROW, the skills gap is not new, but we are now more than ever closer to a true disruption of the workspace. Automotive suppliers are very concerned and ask for urgent action to overcome the challenges faced in the midst of the #MobilityTransition, especially on the following aspects: ➡ Creation of attractive work opportunities that attract young talents ➡ Support of SMEs to invest in reskilling and upskilling opportunities ➡ Adaptation of academic profiles and development of new programmes in educational institutions This week, we will also see the kick-off of the EU project TRIREME that will work on solutions to the skills shortage faced by the automotive industry. Founder and Director | Leading expert on mobility for study and work | Supporting global employability | Making Mobility Work
The #aiea2024 is one of those conferences that does that: make you (re)think what our field of #internationaleducation is about. Three take aways for me are: 1) with political tensions tightening across the globe and scrutinizing “international” in #intled are we failing to make people understand the value of international #highered ? 2) #employability remains key. It is not about “more bums on seats” to ensure HEI success, it is (and will be even more so for future generations of students) about future proofing #graduates for a job market in ‘permachange’. 3) OMG - I love my peers in the intled field. They are interesting, intelligent, driven by integrity and lots of fun! AIEA International Higher Education Darla K. School of Thought (Automotive) and Autotech Group in association with the The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) have created the very first National Week dedicated to promoting carers in the automotive industry. We are a huge global industry with a global issue, a skills shortage created by a Generation Gap. We believe our industry must have not just a National Week but an International week to promote all the careers we have to a new generation. This very first year we are calling AWE24 The National Automotive Work Experience Week to enable as many companies from all the sectors of the industry to be on a national free register giving young people the opportunity to find us. If you, a friend or staff member have experienced work experience please post on your media platforms or send to [email protected] Your stories will not only encourage young people to consider careers in our industry but also encourage more and more companies to get engaged in offering work experience. So next week is an industry first so let’s shout out how great an industry we have. AWE24 15th-19th April is on. But we are already starting to plan National Automotive Careers Week 2025. #AWE24 #workexperience #thebigpush #industrydad #schoolofthought4 #getinvolved #stepup24 #autotechgroup #IMI #NBRA #VBRA

There will be bad days, and they will end. First of all, Dear Sun, you are the star of the show! Nobody is competing with you, please take it easy. We are roasting out here while working on the flight line🥲. As I near the end of my Graduate trainee program, there are still a million things to do and learn… I can't help but feel a mix of excitement and anxiety about the future. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, I'm reminded of the growth and learning I've experienced during this journey. Going forward I would trust in my abilities and resilience, be ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that come my way, knowing that every challenge holds the potential for growth. Happy new month guys 🤍, while I might have hit a few bumps starting out, I hope you all soared in smoothly ? Let's fly high and navigate these clouds with finesse! ✨✨. P.S: Try to embrace the bad days, they're just a chapter, not the whole story. Keep pushing forward! #R66 #aviation #aerospace #learning #selfdevelopment #mechatronicsengineering

Mr. Isom, if you want quality aviators originating through STEM with an effective transition program, look no further than JSX. You, AA and the 121 airlines should support JSX, a quality air carrier that provides an effective bridge for young aviators to gain valuable experience, insights, and the skills to transition to AA, like JetBlue and United who already support JSX. Many JSX pilots already fly for AA and their careers were made possible by Part 380 air carrier operations.
We’re proud to partner with CR Smith Museum to introduce a new education program — Aviation Career Pathways. This multi-year program was created for middle and high school students to increase access and exposure to aviation STEM education and industry career opportunities. The #AATeam is excited about inspiring future aviation professionals and to help students build confidence and feel supported to pursue life-changing careers. Learn more at https://bit.ly/47aU5yf ✈️❤️💙
