Nigeria’s agriculture sector is a key driver of the economy, but it faces a huge financing gap of $183 billion per year. This gap hinders the growth and development of the sector, which could create more jobs, wealth, and opportunities for millions of people. To bridge the gap, we need to improve the enabling environment, develop innovative and inclusive financial products and services, build the capacity and resilience of farmers and agribusinesses, and foster partnerships and collaboration among various stakeholders. Hi friends it's being a while just a few questions!!! While we entrust much funds to the Agricultural sector of the African continent. I am aware that there are no signs that there has being any significant achievements in the past 15years on this subject Looking at themes like: 1.Quality and Best Agricultural practices. 2.Equal access to funds. 3.Access to modern equipments 4.Access to I.T in the Rural suburbs. 5.Best Farm management practices. E.t.c My view is that this themes are centered on Improved value addition systems of Agriculture and a strengthened Value Chain across the various agro businesses. What do you think will be the benefits of government and private sectors if the above concerns are mended? What impact does the Producers, cooperative associations and Farmers association i.e farmers have in building on this initiatives and what do you think are their likely challenges? Kindly let me have your view in the comment sections Thanks! #Agriculture #Afdb #SharonIdahosa #Durian #PULA #AfexNigeria #Letstalkagriculture #FMRD #Tofa #BoA #AbdulrahmanAbdulrazaq #
