In Danielle Hansen's MGMT394, we were tasked with fundraising $1,500 for Catholic Charities Twin Cities for our Common Good project. My group has chosen to support the Children's Mental Health Day Programs. We believe it's imperative that everyone has access to mental health resources, ensuring their mental well-being and mitigating educational and behavioral challenges and barriers. 🌍✨ On this Mental Health Day, we invite you to reflect on the mental well-being of those around you. Grief can profoundly impact mental health, and as we continue to support individuals navigating their healing and grief journeys, your support is more crucial than ever. At our organization, we provide essential resources like free one-to-one support sessions, groups, and webinars, helping thousands in Halton, Peel, and beyond cope with their grief. However, these vital services rely heavily on donations, as we do not receive direct, ongoing funding for these core programs. Consider making a donation today to help us continue providing the support that many need. Together, we can ensure that no one faces their grief alone and that mental health remains a priority in our community. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference! 💚 Link in bio or visit https://lnkd.in/gfmUs2um to donate. #MentalHealthDay #GriefSupport #CommunityCare #GiveToday #NonProfit #Charity #Grief

As a team sponsor (Jay Anderson Property), our goal is to raise $15,000 – that's $30 for every kilometre of the ride. How You Can Help: 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Help us reach our fundraising goal. 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: There are a few spots available for those who wish to participate in this meaningful event. Imagine the pain of losing someone dear to you at a young age. Sadly, this is the reality for 1 in every 20 children aged 7-17, and over 300,000 children in Australia will experience the loss of a parent before they turn 18. The impact of losing a parent at a young age leaves a lasting imprint on a child's life, leaving behind scars that may never fully heal. Research reveals the devastating toll it takes, showing how it disrupts not only their present but also their future. From strained relationships to academic struggles and occupational challenges, the repercussions are far-reaching. Tragically, this pain often leads to harmful coping mechanisms, mental health issues, substance abuse, and an increased risk of suicide. The ripple effects are profound, shaping their journey long after the initial loss. This is where Feel the Magic steps in to provide these children and their families with the support they need to find solace, strength, and the opportunity to embark on a path toward healing. Feel the Magic’s work is crucial, and the need is great. By supporting this cause, we can together help shape a better future for these children. #MagicRide2024 #FeelTheMagic

Hey, brainiacs! I'm taking part in the push up challenge for Mental Health. Here are some funny reasons why you should donate to this awesome cause: 1) Because life is hard and people need help to cope 2) Brains are squishy and mushy, but science shows you can reshape them no matter how old you get. 3) Working out keeps me sane, so I won't freak out at you 4) It's the biggest fundraising event for mental health in Australia 5) Stick one to the man and get some money back for doing good! The Push for Better Foundation is a legit charity in Australia and you can claim your donation on your taxes. (ABN 49645093349) 6) I also put my money where my mouth is, so you know it's good stuff.
