Supporting Family Care Ministries through initiatives like running a feeding scheme and assisting orphans and the elderly brings about significant benefits and personal satisfaction. Let’s delve into these aspects: > Community Impact: By running a feeding scheme, you directly address hunger and malnutrition within the community. Providing regular meals ensures that individuals, especially vulnerable populations like orphans and the elderly, have access to essential nutrition. Assisting orphans and the elderly contributes to a sense of community care and compassion. It fosters a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and included. > Human Connection and Fulfillment: Engaging with those in need—whether through food distribution or companionship—creates meaningful connections. These interactions offer a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Witnessing the impact of your efforts firsthand, such as seeing a child’s smile after a nourishing meal or an elderly person feeling less lonely, brings immense satisfaction. > Spiritual Growth and Compassion: Supporting Family Care Ministries aligns with spiritual values. It reflects Jesus’ teachings about caring for the vulnerable and marginalized. Compassion and empathy grow as you actively participate in alleviating suffering and improving lives.

Happy Tuesday Humanites. In one way or another, we have all assisted in medical fundraisers/ appeal from destitute family members for a relative in need of aid for treatment, admission and/or burial. We have all heard the advice: "You are one medical emergency away from abject poverty". To some, it is a word of caution that teaches one to invest, save and live under prayer. For others, this is a living reality that they have to grapple with. It is true that one can't place a certain value to saving one's life, yet in an attempt to sparing human life, relatives are left in despair of huge financial burdens and debt whilst dealing with grief, despair and mourning. As the health care fraternity: - Can we work in tandem with patients and relatives to ensure optimum care while catering their financial abilities ? - What would that mean in terms of the care provided ? - What extreme measures/ implications would be encountered in achieving this balance ? (This post aims to share the lamentations of an acquaintance and shed light onto an area that needs to be adressed). #healthcare. #alllivesmatter.

We are delighted to welcome We are delighted to welcome Greta Csereklye Gréta, the founder of Pearl’s Private Personal Hospice Family Support, as a valued member of #HBBA. Greta (BA with Honors in Social Care and Spiritual Counselling) founded Pearl’s Private Personal Hospice Family Support (PPP), which offers comprehensive assistance during difficult times, particularly in facing the profound fear surrounding death. They provide End-of-Life Care, emotional support, and spiritual counselling to patients and families dealing with terminal diagnoses. The services include healthcare, medical equipment, supplies, hospital appointments, transport, and childcare, and they are available 24/7 to support individuals through the challenging stages of life's end. Regardless of who we are or where we come from, our greatest fear is life IN death. There is perhaps no fear more profound or universal than this. Death arrives unexpectedly and in various guises, is always fatal. It is an unwelcome guest, mainly when it targets us directly or those dear to us. The final moments, we know, will be marked by sorrow, pain, separation and the absence of someone cherished. There will be tears, grief, and an emptiness that seems insurmountable. Can we, however, prepare ourselves during these special moments with the help that can take us practically through these circumstances? Transitioning during this period will be a daunting process for the most part. During this time, there is a need to settle both family and civic responsibilities in affairs. If you or your family member need help, do not hesitate to contact Greta. [email protected] #hospice #responsibility #care

Here is my little corner where I speak for the impoverished fisherfolks of lake victoria| I founded treats4kalangala| [email protected]
The wormhole of preventable suffering: 💤My mission is as clear as a tear in the rain: to magnify the issues plaguing the #poor, #babies, #mothers, and #pregnantwomen. Anyone neglecting their plight would face a pinch of salt in their wounds. 💤As #healthcare costs continue to grow, it gets harder for people to pay for the healthcare #services they require. The greedy for pesa have corrupted everything they have touched and only the private #hospitals are working properly. Unfortunately people have to #pay quite heavily for this but it does give a peace of mind. 💤How about my poor peasants and #fisherfolks 50miles #offshore where many fear to cross over the tides to set up #private points of care? Here, the government establishes #outposts that run once every month or not. What about #emergencies? 💤We must open our eyes to the possibilities, and start #cultivating even from the barren land. If we take on the thinking that we lack capabilities, we are hallucinating, a mirage preventing us from extending a #helping hand. 💤Let me re-introduce myself: My name is Mutebi Henry, a born of #kalangala. My workbook journey is not a ferry tour or a walk in the park. 💤Through #writing, I continue to cry for the lives lost and the hardships faced by those unable to escape the wormhole of #preventable suffering. 💤Our #government officials seem to have missed the memo on empathy. They care less and often salad away the pesa meant for #healthcare items. They often ask themselves, how can we give a #service to folks from far flung areas? 💤The government often has other (non-health care) #priorities they have to deal with, and as such #medical services might get less #funding. Finances allocated for public #healthcare services end up into a dramatic Tv show. ♐I have figured my #country is taking a nap on key issuing choking it's nationals. Many are on a trial, if they can't improvise on just a handful of the scarce #healthcare services, they #die. #youthempowerment #bethechange #healthcareaccess #sdgs #leadership treats4kalangala
