For more than 6 years Finnland is known to be the happiest place in the world. Finnish people have 3 major pillars of happiness to share: ✨ A strong sense of community and relatedness = COMMUNITY 🏘️ ✨ Doing good deeds for other people = CHARITY 🤲🏻 ✨ Finding a clear purpose for oneself = PURPOSE 💟 Everyone should have their own formula for happiness, of course. But these three finish secret ingredients sound quite credible to me 😌 COMMUNITY = we, Ukrainians have been tested to the core of our bonds within the last year. And I know I feel the most happy, connected, and content, when I have the opportunity to stay connected even through long distances with my community. Yes, normally the community would be located in same area. For us, people who are rooted in Ukraine, but live far away, it’s been more difficult. But we still cherish each other. Sometimes even more than when we were in one place. CHARITY = in the times like these, we are exposed to so many problems of this world, wars, and crisis that helping each other, helping both human and animals, supporting the whole countries and the whole worlds’ ecology, is the only way we survive! I wish that everyone would find the capacity and kindness to GIVE! Because there will be places that would need your help every minute. PURPOSE = well, this might be most personal of all. But for me, the combination of the previous two conveys the last one. Helping others in order to make the world a better place and develop happy, successful communities is the purpose that drives 😌 #purpose #gettingpersonal #happiness #contentment #communitygoals #charity #helpothers #supporteachother

As of 8/17/23, Go Fly Maui, LLC has resumed flight operations. Nick and I continue to be inspired by the outpouring of love and aloha for our community. Many have asked us how they can best support our island in this time of need. 1. Donate and Volunteer The County of Maui has officially endorsed Hawaii Community Foundation and Maui United Way as places to donate financially. For those on Maui, MauiNuiStrong.info (https://lnkd.in/g-H8RZBa) has a list of current volunteer opportunities. 2. Visit Maui Ilihia Gionson, a spokesman for the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority, said it best. “Tourism is Hawaii’s major economic driver, and we don’t want to compound a horrific natural disaster of the fires with a secondary economic disaster.” In alignment with Governor Josh Green, the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority urges visitors to refrain from going to West Maui (including Lāhainā, Nāpili, Kāʻanapali, and Kapalua) but encourages travelers to consider visiting other areas of Maui (including Kahului, Wailuku, Kīhei, Wailea, Mākena, Pāʻia and Hāna). Our visitor industry accounts for 80 percent of every dollar generated on the island, but there are a great many empty rooms and open tables on the island right now, and we’re all feeling the impact. No, West Maui is not the place to visit right now. The rest of #Hawaii, however, needs your support. Pack compassion. Pack respect. Please visit #Maui. 3. Fly Go Fly Maui is among the many #smallbusinesses feeling the impact of the drop in visitors to the island. If you’re visiting Maui in the weeks ahead, please consider flying with us (https://goflymaui.com for details). The places we fly are far from the impact zone and don’t interfere with operations there. We promise we will take great care of you. If you’re planning to visit Maui at a later date, but don’t yet know when, please consider buying a Go Fly Maui gift certificate by calling (808) 633-5356. The value of these certificates never expires, and you’ll be supporting our small business as we hope for a rebound in tourism. Regardless of how you choose to help, mahalo for your compassion. Our community is grateful for your support. Maui no ka oi. Magen and Nick Moran Owners, Go Fly Maui

I help emerging CPG brands untangle the mess of 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 | CEO @ Promomash | Host of The 7 Hats Podcast
Thinking of Raising Funds? Imagine being at a crossroads: one path leads to a self-sustained journey (think: trekking solo 🥾), while the other requires a team and more resources (like gearing up for a mountain expedition 🏔️). Before deciding, ask yourself: Can I Go, Solo? Ever thought about bootstrapping? It's the solo trek - you set the pace, route, and breaks. What If...? If the mountain expedition team isn’t ready, how will you conquer the peak alone? Gear Up: If you're going big, know exactly which equipment (or funds) is for what. No unnecessary luggage! The Perfect Trek Buddy: We all want that ideal trekking partner. What qualities does your dream investor possess? Captain of the Ship? If you trek solo, you call all the shots. With a team, it's shared leadership. Cool with that? Guided Tours: Some experienced trekkers (VCs) will guide you, but they'll also decide which path to take. Ready for that? Map Reading: Know the terrain! Dive deep into your industry and understand the potential trails (your TAM). Your Unique Path: Why is your trail special? Maybe it's a secret waterfall or a hidden cave - what's your business’s unique value? Setting Up Camp: Found the perfect campsite? Great! That's your valuation. Make sure it's in the right spot. End of the Trail: Are you trekking to enjoy or to find an exit like a helicopter ride back? Have that exit strategy in mind! So, are we going solo or embarking on a grand expedition? Either way, make sure it’s the right journey for you! 🌄 #promomash #StartupLife #Fundraising #EntrepreneurTalks

In 2019 the Change Making Tours project was approved, a capacity building project created to promote a new model of responsible #tourism and an alternative way of #traveling 🧳. It was not until 2022 that the project was carried out, which had as its main objective to train local non-profit organizations in the management of groups following an #educational path and providing an opportunity to develop an economically #sustainable model that can have a positive impact on local communities through responsible volunteering. Before the #volunteers carried out their experiences of #volunteering in the countries of Colombia 🇨🇴 and Brazil 🇧🇷, several meetings and training courses were held in which activities were carried out to get to know the participants and to coordinate and organize the different #mobilities that would take place later on. For two months, the participants carried out various #communication activities, producing videos 📹 and photos 📸 for the blog and social networks. #changemakingtours #sustainabletourism #erasmusplus
