Moving from Start-Stop recruitment to Always-On Hiring. I often hear in-house HR Directors and hiring managers challenged with predictably and repeatedly finding the right talent for their business. More often than not, they're running a start-stop process. React to the business need, start hiring, find a candidate, close it down. Repeat. This is okay if you hire a handful of people in a range of different roles. But - if you're hiring for the same 2-3 roles, month-after-month then you're wasting a lot of effort and likely out on the best talent. The best volume #recruitment companies focus on a few things to get the advantage. They don't ever stop running effective talent attraction - they have their talent pipeline 'always-on': 📅 Schedule positions in advance of hiring spike or projected demands 🔂 Have recurring campaigns to continually bring in the best talent 👤 Leave campaigns active to build up candidate pools and talent pipelines ⏱ Act swiftly in engaging candidates (as time to first meaningful interaction matters to candidates) 📩 Nurture the candidates and hiring pipeline ✅ Simplify the background and reference check processes ⚙ Automate large parts of the process = less repetitive admin (to free up more time) 👩🔧 As they know this all allows them to spend more time nurturing and getting to know the best talent. This means less time administering recruitment campaigns - and more time maximising your #hiring activities that add value in the process. Ultimately, a win for the candidate experience and a win for the business hiring. Sounds like a lot to focus on, well it doesn't need to be.
