Hi LinkedIn friends. I wanted to share this post from Sam. We're looking for experienced Google Cloud DevOps professionals. I wanted to share my own personal perspective to my LinkedIn family. I've been at #EPAM for two years now, working as a Senior Cloud Architect. I absolutely love it here. It was the best career choice I've ever made. Just a few observations... 💡I love and appreciate the opportunity to deploy my Cloud and Architecture skills in different ways. I'm a cloud architect, but I have a lot of experience and strength in enterprise architecture and strategy. EPAM help me leverage all my skills to benefit both EPAM, and my clients. 💡My EPAM colleagues are great! They are really supportive, and really smart. And it's a technology company, so we all love technology! 💡My colleagues are diverse! I love working with people from so many different backgrounds and locations. 💡I love my client! I have a hybrid working model that suits me, and suits my client's team. They're also an amazing group of smart, supportive people. My client team feels like family! 💡I feel appreciated, by both my client, and by EPAM. I know the value I bring, and I know it makes a difference. If you don't feel appreciated, it's hard to like your job. But at EPAM, if you do something right, then people will tell you. I feel appreciated, so I love my job! 💡EPAM provide great opportunities to continuously improve. Their training ecosystem is vast! And - like many of my Google friends- I'm addicted to Google certifications. EPAM provides resources to help you with this, and even pays for the exams. And, they've got a brilliant team that supports you in this journey. I love working with the EPAM GCP Certification Team! 💡EPAM provide opportunities to shine outside of the "day job". I personally love to run talks and share knowledge. And EPAM encourages and rewards this. 💡I feel empowered! 💡Compensation. EPAM offers an extremely competitive package. I'll leave it at that! 💡Career path. EPAM supports you on your career journey. Promotion is based on competency. So much more to say, but I don't want to induce a coma! If that sounds good to you, and you'd like to bring your knowledge and skills to EPAM, then please reach out to me, or to Sam! #GCP #EPAM #hiring

I’m #hiring. #aws #awscloud Experience and Projects Go beyond listing job titles and responsibilities: Describe the cloud platforms you’ve worked with (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and the scale of infrastructure you’ve managed. Highlight specific projects, detailing your contributions, technologies used, and tangible outcomes (cost savings, performance improvements, enhanced security). Example: “Led migration of legacy systems to AWS, resulting in a 30% reduction in operational costs and improved scalability.” Quantify your impact using metrics (e.g., percentage reductions in downtime, increased deployment frequency). 3. Skills and Endorsements A comprehensive skills section is crucial: Include key cloud engineering skills such as cloud architecture, DevOps, automation, and proficiency with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Example: “Skills: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines” Seek endorsements from colleagues and peers to validate your expertise. 4. Recommendations and Accomplishments Request recommendations from colleagues or managers who can vouch for your skills and work ethic. Showcase any relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer).

When I began studying for the AWS Architect Professional last year, ultimately passing in January, I thought it would help me stand out from the crowd and add a layer of credibility to my AWS knowledge. In reality, unless you're an AWS / IT Professional yourself, you really don't understand the complexity of the exam, nor the breadth and depth of the services covered. This is especially true when companies look at candidates with no experience, maybe some transferable experience, or even just hold advanced certifications. It's hard to replace hands on experience, I get it, but where does one get such experience? The common response is "build projects". However, what projects do employers want to see? They can't all be the same, right? You can Google the same project ideas that everyone else does, sure, but what stands out? How do you get a Hiring Manager's attention? Or more importantly, how do you get a resume past a non technical member of HR, who maybe doesn't understand what goes into obtaining certifications, a technical degree, personal projects, etc? At the end of the day, it's really hard to evaluate and hire candidates with limited information, especially without even speaking to them. I think this is a big hurdle a lot of candidates face today, whether making a career change, trying to advance their career, etc. Even more Sr. candidates with years of experience can experience this. #techhiring #techjobs #itjobs #cloudjobs #aws #hiring
