Merry Christmas everyone! I wanted to take a moment to express just how grateful I am for your support. From the very beginning which wasn’t long time ago, (it was June 2023 when I started to post , I remember I was happy for having 4K views and 500 followers! ,I couldn’t have imagined I would hit half a million views in 6 months and more than 4000 followers in couple of months) but I couldn’t have achieved it without your support! I learned from you guys that support doesn’t necessarily need to be something physical! you've been there for me, cheering me on and helping me through the tough times. I feel incredibly lucky to have such a great network like you in my corner, always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Thank you for all that you do and for being the kind of person that makes the world a better place. Thank you for your support. Remember until you spread your wings, you will have no idea how far you can fly! "Until you spread your wings, you’ll have no idea how far you can fly" is a powerful mantra that speaks to the courage and determination needed to reach one's full potential. Take risks, push yourself to your greatest heights, and never settle for less than greatness. Take an action, step out of your comfort zones and challenge yourself to go further than you ever thought possible. Strive for your highest aspirations and never let fear hold you back from reaching your goals. Through self-belief and hard work, we can break through our own self-imposed limitations and soar to great heights.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Let's celebrate the miracle of "making it" and calling it a day. I've rather enjoyed my annual rant about what I've learned. Some past thoughts are cringe, but all retrospective things I've said are cringe. This is good; I've changed. In my 32nd year of aliving, I have learned the following: 1. Applied learning is overrated, and abstract is underrated. How and why you need to learn is much more important than what you need to learn. 2. How I ended up doing business and business school is just a series of path-dependent dominos. I could've easily majored in chemistry or political science. Life is a wonder, and I do like where it has taken me. 3. Your values and your communities can be a reflection of who you believe God is. 4. Consistency is only important at the highest level (your values). You should continuously update your behavior and occasionally challenge your beliefs. 5. I want to do more quant. I miss programming statistical models and cleaning data (gasp :X). 6. I really ought to work on another artistic endeavor. 7. Constant nonstop traveling is overrated. I can do it and am happy to do it for work and school. I don't know why people do it for fun. All the traveling has really prevented me from building a community, capabilities, relationship, and project momentum. There's a lot of value in expanding your sphere of influence, but it's also important to have deep roots that you can draw upon. 8. Self-care is a scam. You end up spending more money to be lonelier. If it doesn't update your belief or improve your relationship, it's probably just a product; it might even be a good product.

When I first joined LinkedIn, I faced rejection and lack of engagement, leading me to give up multiple times. Watching others succeed made me question my place here. Despite the challenges, I kept returning, driven by a desire to connect and share my journey. I chose to stay consistent, pushing forward no matter how difficult it got. Consistency became my mantra. I focused on improving my craft and embracing every opportunity to grow. Slowly but surely, I began to see small wins, proving my efforts were not in vain. Success on LinkedIn isn't just about grand achievements; it's about small, consistent steps. Show up, even when it's hard, and believe in yourself. Today, I'm proud of my journey. Every setback and moment of doubt has shaped me into who I am. To anyone feeling like giving up, remember: that consistency is key. Keep pushing forward, believe in yourself, and never underestimate the power of small wins. You can do it, and your journey is worth it. Thank you for inspiring me to keep going. Yes, this isn’t your standard Linkedin post, but if this could help someone else take the right step towards better living, then mission accomplished! I did it. I achieved the goal I had set for myself: 10% body fat by 50. I’ve always been an active, athletic person, but with age came new restraints, and my body made sure to inform me of my new limitations. It was disheartening to say the least… no more 10Ks, no more rigorous exercise, it was over. Or so I thought. Through my research into wellness and longevity, I stumbled upon the wonderful Harjit Bahia and her company LONGEVITY, who helped me recapture the vitality that I mistakenly thought I’d lost. By focusing on multiple pillars of longevity, including nutrition, stress, sleep, movement, and community, I was able to get back in the driver’s seat. This isn’t a bragging post, nor is it an ad per se. It’s a thank you letter to the brilliant team at LONGEVITY and Harjit Bahia, the latter whom I will be working with on my next venture: ZOI. Our objective? To establish a data-driven, informed, monitored and measured approach to health, leveraging the latest technology, and empowering people to become the CEOs of their own health. We’re excited to bring this to all of you!

bounce back from your mistakes

Ravi Garg my friend from, the Executive Leadership program by Rakesh Rana♟️ has posted a wonderful article on being grateful. I just wanted to add another point through #friendship to remain Grateful and practice gratitude. The circle of good friendship is so strong that one can only remain grateful throughout lifetime. It has immense power to amplify the positivity quotient surpassing all useless thoughts. To quote an example, a meetup of college Alumni after 2 decades evoked fun and painful events of adventurous college days. Surfing though these conversations an AAHA moment surfaced when one of us explained about his Forgive and Forget (that persona) practice to all unexpected, unpleasant events and people. The benefits of such experiences cannot be underestimated in a friend circle and I must remain grateful on this circle of everlasting strengths. Ask this to self, if I remain grateful to all those friends who have seen you, taken care of you, challenged you, referred to you to jobs, promotions, contacts for business growth, even help you get to your partner, list goes on... IF they wronged you, IF they don't respond, don't let your mind flushed up with doubts or grudges. Instead Forgive them and Disassociate the person from that #persona. We cannot know what was going through in their minds. But appreciate that human mind just "wants " thoughts" to be addressed and can take a shortcut to get that processing of thought. When you do this sort of gratitude practice, your mind shall choose to empty the unpleasant thoughts and help builds up a stringer the circle of control, impact and Influence. Its TRUST.
