It was super fun being on the panel and discussing how brands are manoeuvring the new, yet-not-so-new space. As a 'digital transformation consultant' with Reckitt, I get to explore the endless possibilities that AI is building out. Consumers around the world have a more sophisticated understanding of AI than many leaders might realize. An impressive 82% of global consumers are aware of GenAI, with 25% having already used it. Yet, there is a gap in sentiments: 70% are excited about its workplace use, but only 43% are excited about lifestyle applications. Regionally, Asia and emerging markets are more enthusiastic (no surprise here), while mature markets like Europe and the US show greater caution. Given that feelings about GenAI have evolved over time, there will certainly come a time when it becomes a commodity.
