Evonik Oil Additives Asia Pacific in Singapore hosted a group of NTUC students this week. The students had the opportunity to participate in classroom activities and get an exclusive insight into the work and workplace at Evonik's production site on Jurong Island. They were briefed by the mentors on who and what it takes to run a production facility efficiently, and on the various technical roles and responsibilities as well as the career opportunities available within Evonik. This visit was a great platform for both the mentees and our mentors to build a professional relationship and help the students gain clarity and confidence in their future careers. Following our impactful debut at Taj Chandigarh, the Evonik India Animal Nutrition team gathered again on June 26th, 2024, at AVASA Hotels, Hyderabad, for another successful launch event. SpeoCare™ T60, derived from butyric acid and glycerol through advanced esterification technology, delivers a targeted release of butyric acid. SpeoCare™ T60 is meticulously crafted to support gut integrity and enhance animal performance, featuring an impressive content of over 60% tributyrin. SpeoCare™ T60 promotes epithelial cell growth, improves nutrient absorption, and boosts animal resistance to gut health challenges. These benefits ensure poultry remain healthy and thrive, leading to improved productivity and overall well-being. During the launch events, Dr. Saikat Saha, Regional Business Director, Essential Nutrition – Asia, gave the introductory speech, followed by Dr. Torben Gosvig Madsen, Regional Business Director, Specialty Nutrition – Monogastric Asia Pacific, who gave insights on Evonik’s Animal Nutrition products and Dr. Girish Channarayapatna, Head of Technical Services, Specialty Nutrition, Asia Pacific, introduced SpeoCare™ T60. The events culminated with a festive cake-cutting ceremony led by Dr. Torben Madsen and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Dr. Saikat Saha, marking the official launch of SpeoCare™ T60.
