💥 We can't drop the Green Deal ☘️! Climate urgency is at our doorstep and action has to be taken towards reinforcing more climate adaptation. Our economy can't keep flourishing if we don't include climate/nature dynamics in it !! It's time for elected parties to take a strong commitment towards safeguarding our environment for a #sustainable society... even if their mandates are for a shorter period than the one of the #environment. #resilientsociety #sustainability #smartcities

The European Green Deal inaugurated an untold #transformation of the entire European economy. It aims to transform the EU into a fair and prosperous society, with a modern, resource-efficient, and competitive economy. ☘ The European Union is committed to #climateneutrality by 2050, but is also fostering economic growth without increasing resource use and environmental degradation. 🤝 Together with 135 companies and civil society organisations, all members of the Belgian #sustainabilitynetwork The Shift vzw, Bopro signed an open letter urging future government leaders in Belgium and Europe to continue on the path towards a net zero, nature-positive and equitable economy! 🗨 As our Managing Director Peter Garre stated: "#Sustainability is a business case and should be considered as such. Since our sustainability strategy, we have experienced continuous sustainable growth." 🔄 Investments in nature regeneration are a win-win solution for both our planet and our finances. Open letter to all the political decision makers of Belgium: we, Pluxee Belgium, and 134 other companies and associations urge you to keep deploying the Green Deal and speed up the decarbonation process! We need new laws, we need the government to support our efforts, we need all other companies to embark on the net zero trajectory, to preserve biodiversity and water and take care of our people (to name only a few). Yes, it's a huge job, it's not going to be easy, but it's so worth it when you remember there is no planet B! The new government, regardless of its composition, has to help us achieve ambitious sustainability goals! The law on the restauration of nature was adopted by EU today. A great example that we can do this! #greendeal #pluxee #noplanetB

It is as simple as that : on the mid/long run, there will be no companies , no businesses, no brands without Green Deals and much more actions to be undertaken. Everyone knows it : time is of the essence. And so is action !! Happy (more : relieved than happy, with a sense of engagement) to have signed this open letters to our politicians, thanks to The Shift vzw/asbl initiative , of which Hoet&Hoet is member and part. Aside from the heavy weight for nature, climate, biodiversity, sustainability in general and our future generations, only on the economical aspect, inaction costs between 5 to 10 billion € per year... today. IPCC is preparing itself for worse, much worse scenarios in the future ... So, NO, businesses and brands cannot stay silent and not act. Politicians neither. Help them !! Help the future, make it positive and liveable...
