Stress testing Operational Risk is inherently difficult, and yet its sensitivity to rapid & significant economic change is arguably its most important characteristic. Consequently, I've attached below a link to a presentation that I posted on LinkedIn last week that explores in detail: 1. How & why is Operational Risk sensitive to economic shocks? 2. Why is stress testing Operational Risk challenging? 3. What is the guidance from different regulators? 4. A portfolio of approaches for stress testing #OperationalRisk - there's no silver bullet! This presentation is an extension of analysis from my book "Ten Laws of Operational Risk". https://www.linkedin.com/posts/michael-grimwade-a0661a17_38-approaches-to-stress-testing-operational-activity-7213088955657809920-GrG0?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

The cycles showing, that inflation in the US and EU bottoming and shall pick UP again, and Rates???? Some "smart" bankers hurry UP to cut rates .. BUT ...the Secular Trend on Inflation is on the Rising....so Falling price of Governments Debts and falling GDP- Stagflation for the long RUN ....shall see who can survive this DEBT slaughter!!!

Finally! Hopefully a true dialogue towards a methodology yielding results useful for bank management. Go, EBA, go!
