Exciting news on our ThinkAbility program! 🌟 "Look Up, See Beyond" – our purpose is to challenge stereotypes about disability and encourage everyone to embrace a broader perspective. Inspired by 13 incredible athletes, we're committed to seeing the person, not the disability. 🏅 Last month, we had the privilege of hosting Alexis Bellanger, Jakob Klinge, Benjamin Lacroix-Desmazes, Brittni Mason, Carla Oliveira, Valeria Pappalardo, and Man-Kei To at our Saint-Denis office near Paris. They were warmly welcomed by our Group CEO, Antoine Parisi, and engaged with our global teams through webinars. In Saint-Denis, our teams enjoyed playing sitting volleyball and boccia with them, and later, these athletes shared their inspiring journeys with our group top 100 leaders. 👥 A huge thank you to these athletes for sharing their passion and inspiring us all! Just Tell Your Boss It’s a Golf Outing. Want to go to a professional women’s conference and worried your boss won’t let you go? Just tell him you’re going to a golf outing; it works for the guys all the time. Here’s the irony. 😡Business is done through networking and making connections. 😡 Women are natural connectors and relationship builders. 😡 Yet, men are the ones who will intentionally find opportunities, like the golf course, to build connections. 😡 In the meantime, women will often stay in the office and ‘get the work done’ It’s time for women to step out from behind the desk and immerse themselves into the business community so they can connect, learn, and grow. If you’re ready to get on the Women’s Golf Course and propel yourself professionally. You need to be at The ReImagine Conference. It’s happening on June 11 at the Melville Marriott. It’s where conversations will happen and business will get done. Go to https://lnkd.in/eBKYTn-g and nab your ticket today (get early bird pricing too!) #Reimagine2024 #LongIslandEvent #LongIslandNetworking #Equality #Collaboration #Leadership #ProfessionalWomenLI #MGXWConsulting #WomenLeaders #Innovation #Inspiration #ChangeMakers #Empowerment

Phew! It’s been a minute here and I’m appreciative of everyone who reached out during my silence, means a lot.😊 While my life has been on a ‘rollercoaster’ of some sort, we really never stop developing ourselves, making new discoveries, learning and unlearning. Q4 comes with its dose of reflections and looking at my scorecard, I realized Oluwatosin deserved the EOY gift she asked for; #wimbizannualconference particularly because of some “premium shege” she had been through.🤕 Although not my first, the 22nd Edition of the #WIMBIZ Annual Conference was a burst of inspiration from a room full of phenomenal women wearing their capes proudly in their different spheres of influence, constantly challenging the status quo and defying the odds and rewriting their own stories. It was too refreshing. The plenary sessions were too loaded with excellent resource persons doing justice to the topical issues. My fave plenary was on ‘Personal Equilibrium- Selfcare in a VUCA World” Another outstanding aspect was the Keynote Address by Mr. Paul Onwuanibe helping us to fully understand what it means to thrive in challenging times; The quote, “The opportunity of a life time can only be realized within the lifetime of that opportunity” keeps reverberating in my head. What are my Key Takeaways though? 1. Relearning Resilience- This is very much needed in this trying times 2. Value First- Be committed to delivering value always. 3. Self-Care/Wellness - You can’t pour from an empty cup, cultivate healthy habits. 4. The ED’s Speech- SHENDU- The Depth of Profoundness ❤️ 5. Endless Possibilities- You’re filled with hope of what’s possible, a sense of hope that IT can be done! And Ofcourse this was reinforced by the A-Z of I AM POSSIBLE by Mrs. Bimbo Oloyede, the Conference Chairperson. Meanwhile the AfterParty was too lit! 🔥 I left the conference with a lot of To-Dos and a renewed passion to thrive despite the challenging times! #wimbiz #wimbizannualconference #wimbiz2023 #wimbiz22ndannualconference #womeninbusiness #womenentrepreneurs #careerwomen #thriving

It is truly an honor to be a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences and after more than 20 years judging The Webby Awards I was thrilled when The Anthem Awards launched with a specific focus on celebrating #purpose and mission-driven work of people, companies, and organizations worldwide. By amplifying the voices that spark #globalchange, Anthem is defining a new benchmark for #socialimpact that inspires others to take action in their own communities. 👏👏👏 ➡️ Anthem has officially released Part 2 of its ‘Shaping Social Impact in 2023’ Report and I was lucky enough to contribute a few lines. More importantly, the report demonstrates how different impact areas encounter similar challenges, tending to even overlap, and leading to insights that can be used across the industry. Check out the report here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eMv6tn4w Also, just a reminder that your chance to amplify your advocacy on a global platform and stand among impact leaders, movers, and change makers is HERE! Enter the 3rd Annual Anthem Awards before the Final Entry Deadline on September 15, 2023! 🧨 The Anthem Awards recognizes work in #Diversity, #Equity & #Inclusion, #Education, #ArtsandCulture, #Health, Human & #CivilRights #Humanitarian work, #ResponsibleTechnology, and #Sustainability, #Climate & #Environment. Please let me know if you would like to apply or if there is any other impact enterprise that you admire - and help us to celebrate these incredibly important endeavors! 🌟 Liz Roberts Christine P. When I reflect on my career as an athlete, of course I think about the championships, the records, and the medals. But even greater, those big moments remind me of what it took to actually earn them. 16 years of running track & field didn’t just transform my body - I learned how to strategize and how to be intentional about my success. I learned the importance of a race plan (and better yet, how to follow one). I gained a new respect for multitasking and organization as I maintained an elite athlete regimen while also growing in leadership at my 9 to 5. I became an expert at overcoming adversity and using my losses to guide my wins. These are not just byproducts of a professional athletic career, but intentional skills that I’ve been honing since I was a kid and the exact skills that I’ve been tapping into to address current inequities for women in sports. In collaboration with a diverse team of elite athletes and industry professionals at PARITY | A Group 1001 Company, we are challenging the status quo to envision a more equitable landscape for women athletes where they receive the recognition that they so deserve. It’s no secret that conversation surrounding women’s sports has been at an all time high as of recent and I love it! But another side of me knows the reality for myself and so many peers that, unfortunately, athletic prowess alone is not enough to pay the bills for many professional women athletes. Creating lasting impact will require strategy and intentionality, so I’d love to hear thoughts from this community: How do you envision this wave of energy surrounding women’s sports can lead to more sustained and widespread monetary recognition for women athletes across the board? #TeamParity #paywomenathletes #sponsored

158. What is ED&I and Why Is It Important for Workplaces? - https://buff.ly/3QHVwgL This 4-part series focuses on how we can take a genuine approach to D&I in our workplaces in order to create a thriving culture together. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are big words for society in general which need to be carefully navigated to future-proof a successful team culture. To be different is to be human but we humans don’t always make it easy. In this first one we are honoured to be joined by the award-winning Nzinga Orgill MBA CEO & Founder at RaCExpert Ltd. The more complicated and difficult it all seems, the less likely we are to engage with it which creates more exclusion - and runs the risk of being left behind in todays fast-moving world. Nzinga gives an overview of this hot topic in a simple and straightforward way and shares her practical advice for opening the safe, brave space that is required to be able to solve the problems and challenges. Being open to feedback and communicating with openness and respect. Holding ourselves to account and taking action.
