Like many times before, Scania joins the Stockholm Pride Parade to stand up for diversity and equal rights. As an employer, it is business critical to be diverse and inclusive, because that means both attracting and retaining talents.🌈
For Head of People & Culture Jeanna Tällberg, diversity and inclusion are something that she is passionate about: “With more diverse and inclusive teams, we have higher job satisfaction, better engagement, and better performance. Being part of Pride is also taking a clear stance on human rights, which is not only important to us, it's also a natural part of our culture,” she says.
Listen to Jeanna talk about her thoughts on diversity in this video, and enjoy the whole rainbow-flag, in truck form!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

The 17th of May marks the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Lesbophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBLIT). It is a day to raise awareness about discrimination, violence, and challenges faced by the LGBTQIA community across the globe.
As I reflect on my personal journey, I am filled with gratitude for having the opportunity to be part of organizations that foster a safe and inclusive environment for our community. Particularly at #Reckitt, from day one, I found a place where I could be authentically myself. A place where #Allies are always ready to stand up when needed, and where leadership is genuinely committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive culture.
Today, this post is not just an act of #Pride, but also a reminder that we should never take these achievements for granted. There is still much work to be done in our society. Let’s continue to strive for equality and acceptance for all.

🌈 Celebrating Diversity and Empowering LGBTQ Voices: Levi's Pride Campaign 🌈
I am thrilled to share my admiration for the Levi's Pride campaign, which stands out as a powerful example of inclusive marketing.
What is the campaign?
In a world where clothing is not just a necessity but also a means of self-expression, Levi's, as a globally recognized apparel brand, has truly embraced the concept of "all the different ways to show who you are" in their campaign. What sets this campaign apart is the genuine and authentic representation of LGBTQ individuals and their unique stories, inspiring people around the world with various expressions of self-identity and shedding light on the experiences of queer individuals and other marginalized groups.
Why is this campaign successful?
One of the most commendable aspects of the Levi's Pride campaign is its commitment to diversity and inclusivity. The advertisements authentically reflect the backgrounds, characteristics, and identities of different individuals. Take, for instance, Dalzell from Mexico City, who identifies as non-binary, or Toshi from Nagoya, Japan, who challenges the fashion market's limited mindset. There's also Sean, a queer country dancing instructor, and the passionate community workers, cake and Britt. These interviewees encompass a range of races, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, religious beliefs, and cultural backgrounds, presenting a rich tapestry of images and stories.
Furthermore, I deeply appreciate the community perspective that the campaign embraces. Despite facing difficulties in the past due to their gender identity or sexual orientation, the interviewees have emerged as empowered individuals who contribute to their communities and inspire others through their unique strengths. Levi's, through this campaign, emphasizes the values of equality and inclusiveness, rejects discrimination and prejudice, and actively encourages the creation of a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Success metrics
The campaign reached more than 7 million people on social media and promoted the LGBT collection, showing Levi's taking action to support the LGBTQ community. Additionally, Levi's has committed to donating $100,000 annually to Outright International. This reflects Levi's sincere concern for social issues and his active participation in social welfare activities to contribute to social progress. Such campaigns not only increase brand awareness but also foster brand loyalty among consumers who align with these values.
Overall, the Levi's Pride campaign is a resounding success in the realm of inclusive marketing. Through authentic storytelling, the campaign not only showcases Levi's brand values but also promotes inclusivity and amplifies the voices of LGBTQ individuals. 🌈

While the LGBTQ community is finding its voice more and more each day, we can only make real change when we have enough allies consciously changing the way they think and challenging others to do the same. Check out this beautiful testimonial from Kathleen Long 💙 💜 💖
"For a long time, I did not really talk about being hashtag
#queer while I was at work. I wasn't masking exactly. I am straight passing without trying. I was married to a man for years, and I have a child, both of which make it seem like I'm part of the majority. But I'm a fantastically different human being, in terms of the way I think, the way I show up in the world, the way I lead and the way that I parented my son, who is also part of the hashtag
#LGBTQIA community. I came to realize that Pride wasn't about me attracting attention and shine for myself so much as it was about lighting a path for others - especially those whose identities are very much on display or in transformation - and who are on their own career and hashtag
#leadership journeys.
"Just as I am a rarity as a woman C-level, and a Chief Revenue Officer at that, when most Sales and Revenue leaders are male (even on predominantly female executive staffs, it's wild), I am even more rare as a queer, bisexual woman and I need to stand in everything I am, the things you can see and the things you cannot, so that others can be taken seriously on their own path.
"So now, when I am talking to others who might want to hire me or have me serve on their board or council or any of the number of opportunities in front of me, I lead with it. Not because I want to check their diversity box, but because I want them to understand how very valuable our measurable brain differences are. Queer people aren't like everyone else, and that is a very very good thing. Pride is important for us because many of us, myself included, have been taught that sexuality is shameful or is something that doesn't belong at work. I am still a very private person in some ways, despite being a free-spirited open book in others. But being LGBTQIA is so much more than who you love, it's who you are. And therefore, if you really want to know me, it's important that you know this about me, and that I show up for everyone else as my full self."

CPSO and Board Member of KION Group AG I 100% of employees are people. 100% of customers are people. 100% of investors are people. If you don't understand people, you don't understand business.
What does diversity mean to you? It's not just my feeling: discrimination is on the rise in many countries around the world. According to the WJP, discrimination has increased in 70% of the 140 countries surveyed, with racism being the most common. Millions of people are discriminated against, disadvantaged, or harmed because of their color, race, ethnicity, ancestry, or national origin.
Each of us should not let such studies cause us to despair, instead, they should motivate us to do something about it. In these challenging times, we are all called to be champions of diversity within our spheres of influence.
We must speak out against discrimination, educate ourselves and challenge the stereotypes and prejudices that fuel it.
That's why I was proud to sign the Diversity Charter on behalf of KION Group AG, an initiative to promote the recognition, appreciation and integration of diversity. More than 5,000 companies and institutions in Germany have already signed the Charter, and I'm grateful that we are now part of it.
What does it mean for us? As a company, we are committed to creating a work environment that is free of prejudice and in which all employees are valued - regardless of age, origin, gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and ideology, sexual orientation or social background.
As HR Head, I'm proud that KION is diverse.
