In all fairness, I never wanted to leave the recruiting field. I still love the industry and to be blunt; I was good at it! Two years ago, I made the decision to join Bullhorn. It was a gut-wrenching process. In all transparency, I was running from being a caregiver to my elderly parents. My firm had always allowed me the flexibility to be there for my family and I just needed a break! (firstPro's kindness will never go unnoticed). The bigger picture though...I no longer felt challenged in recruiting and it was just too easy for me?! Being a leader, guiding best practices, having tough conversations, creating relationships, prospecting, it was not hard. I was confident enough to say if you met me you'd work with me. However, I just wasn't fulfilled. I decided to step into a role that terrified me, would push me, would make me uncomfortable, and to be honest... I'd make less money. I am older than all my colleagues, and my life experiences don't match up to anyone on my team. Age really has a way of making you look at the world differently. What I have been given from Bullhorn is more than I could have ever imagined!! I received a leadership team who is patient with me and guides me when I don't understand, bosses who I'd absolutely fall on a sword for (Game of Thrones level), and a team who laughs with me and at me! I work with the absolute smartest group of people who push me to my best! My colleagues are now my dear friends! I have tremendous support from multi-channels, and I've just never experienced this type of kindness. Bullhorn has a motto: Never win alone/Never lose alone. This is not just a saying but the culture at Bullhorn! I have been able to work with most of my customers for the past two years and I adore them! This year together is going to be fun! I was trying to run from my family but what I have in Bullhorn, is another company who puts family first! ❤️ I've never been more fulfilled with work in my life.
