On this day in ESPN history, we announced a 12-year agreement with the AELTC to continue ESPN’s exclusive and extensive first-ball–to-last-ball coverage of Wimbledon from 2024 through 2035. 🎾 ABC added live matches on the middle weekend of the tournament (starting in 2022) and ESPN began streaming all courts and be the exclusive home of other content, including qualifying, films, classic matches and full-match replays.
