As evictions surge, these beloved companions are left with nowhere to go, exacerbating an already overtaxed shelter system. More 👇 The reality is dire. Shelters report a 10% annual increase in intake. Vet shortages and the ongoing issuance of licenses to breed dogs are compounding the issue. The bitter truth? Our shelters are at nearly double their capacity. But there are glimmers of hope. Best Friends Animal Society is stepping up, providing nearly a million dollars in grants to animal welfare coalitions and hosting essential resource fairs. Gasps, sighs, and oh my’s!😍 ⬆️That’s me when I see pretty much any animal… So it’s no surprise that I started fostering dogs to help in the mission to save as many animals as possible. ✅Getting innocent animals out of shelters and into loving homes with adoptions ✅Fostering for rescues to make room for other animals in need ✅Donating food and resources to make shelter life more comfortable ✅Providing a sense of relief for the selfless people running these organizations I decided to focus on helping animal rescues and nonprofits appeal to fosters, donors, and supporters through a high converting brand and website, designed and built by someone who knows what they need. What are the biggest challenges nonprofit dog rescue face today Animal rescues have many challenges facing them in their quest to unite abandoned animals with good homes. Battling people's preconceived notions about rescue pets, public ignorance over curbing animal overpopulation, lack of centralized funding for these non-profit shelters, and the staggering number of animals all contribute to a veritable host of problems to surmount. One of the best ways to help rescues combat this issue is to raise public awareness, and spread information about the difficulties faced in providing such a valuable service. With that in mind, these are the three of the major problems facing animal rescues today. 1. A lack of public awareness 2. Funding is hard to come by 3. There are too many pets needing space These are problems that will not go away unless we all pitch in and do our part to help, as best we can!
