Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! 🍀 Today is not just about wearing green or hunting for four-leaf clovers. It's a day steeped in history, celebrating St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, known for bringing Christianity to the island and reportedly using the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. But how can we channel the spirit of St. Patrick's Day into property and community management? Easy! Here are a few tips: 🌿 Go Green: Not just with your outfit! Implement eco-friendly practices in your community. Think recycling programs, energy-efficient lighting, and encouraging bike-to-work days. 🎉 Community Engagement: Organize events that bring people together, much like the communal celebrations of St. Patrick's Day. A community potluck or a green-themed party can do wonders for neighborly bonds. 🌍 Inclusivity Matters: St. Patrick's Day is celebrated worldwide, em we bracing people of all backgrounds. Ensure your community feels welcome and valued, regardless of their origin. 📚 Educate and Share: Use your community bulletin or social media to share fun facts about St. Patrick's Day, spreading knowledge and joy. Let's take inspiration from this day to not only wear green but also to think green and act in ways that foster a strong, inclusive, and joyful community. May the luck of the Irish be with you today and always! 🍀🏡🌟 #RESCONGreen #StPatricksDay #CommunityManagement #GoGreen #Inclusivity #Sustainability #PropertyManagement #CelebrateCommunity

Known as the “Choice of Champions,” Clermont has a reputation as a training ground for athletes, from high school athletes and regional record-breakers to Olympians; among those who have lived or trained here are Shane Greene, an MLB pitcher for the Atlanta Braves who was named an All Star in 2019; Nina Kraft, the oldest professional female Ironman winner; and Noah Lyles, an Olympic Gold Medalist and world record-holding sprinter. But beyond its ample sporting facilities, Clermont is full of pristine lakes, parks and trails. In 2018, it was designated as a Trail Town by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Greenways and Trails System and has been nationally certified as a runner-friendly and bicycle-friendly community. Don’t miss the picturesque 13-mile South Lake Trail, with hills, lakes and panoramic vistas. It’s part of the under-construction Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail, which, when completed, will stretch from the east to west coasts of Florida, from Titusville to St. Petersburg. Clermont was founded in 1884 and incorporated in 1916, when its main industry was citrus production (that industry thrived until the 1960s). Today, it is the largest city in Lake County, one of the fastest growing counties in Florida. Its historic downtown is the heartbeat of the city, supported by Clermont Main Street, a passionate group of businesses and volunteers working to revitalize the area through a mix of public funding, grants, sponsorships and community events. Recurring events include wine strolls and First Friday food trucks; there are also seasonal festivals. The Wilshire 5000 (now FT Wilshire 5000) is the original broad based US equity benchmark. In its modernised and improved form it is a better measure to identify and explain the US market risks and returns. Take another look at this iconic index series.
We are excited to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Wilshire 5000, now known as the FT Wilshire 5000. When the Wilshire 5000 was launched there were few ways to understand the financial strength and performance of the entire US stock market. Quickly redefining how global investors’ view and measure the market, the Wilshire 5000 helped tell the story of American capitalism through 50 years of market cycles, economic regimes, and political administrations and ultimately helped to transform the active and passive investment landscape. Today, we are proud to mark this important milestone and are even more excited for the next 50 years of the FT Wilshire 5000. Port Perry - a hidden gem for families that's become a beacon for those seeking the balance of small-town charm and trendy waterfront living. 🌊🛶 As a real estate expert in this beautiful locale, I find families are often searching for more than just a house - they're looking for a community, a lifestyle, and an escape from the city's hustle. That's exactly what you find here in Port Perry. But it's not just the serene lake views and the quaint downtown that catch the eye. It's the vibrant tapestry of seasonal events and festivals that bring this neighborhood to life. Imagine treating your family to: 🎨 Art in the Park - where creativity meets community spirit. 🍁 The fall fair - a tradition that weaves generations together. 🎅 The Santa Claus parade - where magic floats down the main street. 🚤 The Dragon Boat races - team spirit splashed with excitement. Now let’s talk about the lasting impact of these events: ✔️ Sense of Community: Gathering with neighbors strengthens local bonds. ✔️ Family Memories: Shared experiences that turn into cherished stories. ✔️ Lifestyle: A reflection of a balanced, enriched way of living. As families partake in these festivities, they're not just making memories; they're also investing in the emotional heart of their homes. And isn't that what truly makes a house a home? To my network: Have you considered how the cultural heartbeat of a neighborhood influences your choice of home? Let's discuss how community events play a pivotal role in the real estate allure of places like Port Perry. #PortPerry #FamilyLiving #CommunityEvents #RealEstateLife

CEO & Founder | TEDx Speaker | Board Member | Global & Resilience Thought Leader | Author | Co-Host of Resiliency The Podcast
I'm trading boardrooms for barns and skyscrapers for Ferris wheels for the down-to-earth charm of the Norfolk County Fair in Simcoe, Canada. This isn't just any fair—it's a family legacy, a community cornerstone, and a celebration of all things Canadian. My family has been involved in this fair almost as long as its inception in 1840! That's 27 years before Canada even became a country. My late grandfather, Lloyd Sylvenus Culver, was the fair manager from 1937 to 1973. Under his watch, the fair saw its most significant growth, including the construction of multiple buildings that still stand today. My late father, Syl, was the general manager for over 30 years. Today, my brother Aaron continues the tradition in a leadership role as the facilities manager, continuing a tradition that's been in our family for generations. This week-long extravaganza attracts over 115,000 visitors annually and features everything from equine shows to giant pumpkins. It's not just a fair; it's a million-dollar business that showcases the best in new technology, productivity, and efficiency practices, bridging the gap between urban and rural communities. This fair is my North Star. It's where I've built friendships since I was eight months old, won first prize for my bread and butter pickles, and even survived every single ride on the Midway (though I wouldn't recommend that last one unless you have a strong stomach!). In a constantly changing world, it's essential to have a constant—a touchstone that keeps you grounded and reminds you of your core values. That's what the Norfolk County Fair does for me, and that's what I bring into my leadership style: authenticity, resilience, and a deep-rooted sense of community. #Canada #Leadership #Community #StrategicResilience #TheCulverGroupInc #NorfolkFair
