ERCOT has released its Monthly Outlook for Resource Adequacy (MORA) report for September 2024. The report indicates there is a low risk of ERCOT declaring an Energy Emergency Alert (EEA). Under normal conditions, ERCOT anticipates there will be sufficient generation to meet customer demand. bit.ly/3xJSnrq

ERCOT interns and staff recently toured the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) Mansfield Dam hydroelectric plant. LCRA Vice President of Water Operations Kelly Payne and Director of Dam and Hydro Ryan Schnitzler led the tour. They provided insights into hydroelectric generation and how it is a vital component to help support the ERCOT power grid.
