Theatre or kitchen ❓⬇️ Yesterday, I attended the great musical show “Les Dix Commandements,” and during the grand finale, something extraordinary happened. The final song began, but for about a minute, under the spotlight, no one appeared! This minute felt long enough to realize something wasn’t quite right. Then, it hit me: this was a homage to the original singer, Daniel Levi… And few tears came (yes I am emotional 🥹) Why am I sharing this? Because it’s a powerful reminder of how “spots” can trigger actions and evoke emotions, especially in theater 🎭. It’s all about focusing on those crucial moments to grasp the full scenario. 🌍🌱This experience resonates with me, especially considering our work at SpotLight Earth. Just like in the show, we need to focus on key areas to understand the bigger picture of #CCS and make impactful decisions. Another example on top of the fire alarm 🚨, don’t hesitate to tell me which one you prefer (or if you disagree with all) #TheaterLife #EmotionalImpact #SpotLightEarth #FocusAndAction #monitoring #MMV

The leader in team alignment. Visual consultant, master facilitator, executive coach, international speaker, author
When we speak in musical metaphors it feels so loud. For me, the comparisons are front and center because of the time I've spent on the stage. Now it's my turn to coax my clients out on stage in front of the crowd (their audience, their team) and teach them how to work the microphone (their messaging, their vision) and how to stay cool under the lights (their strategic goals, their competition). You can influence how someone feels the moment they step “into your theatre.” As a performer, I have always believed that “the show starts the moment they walk into the theatre.” Let me explain… Many performers think the show starts the moment they get on stage. But the reality is that the show begins the moment the audience arrives at the theatre. Their experience is influenced by every detail: How easy was it for them to park? Was it simple to get a drink? Was there engaging music playing as they found their seats? These seemingly small details can change how they feel, creating curiosity and interest before the performance even begins. Every moment before I walk on stage is an opportunity to shape their experience. How can you apply this? The moment someone enters your premises, you have an opportunity to influence their feelings.

Fun Fact Fridays - The Color Purple All I can say is Wow! I was able to see the movie musical "The Color Purple" and it gave same feelings as the original with Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey. I didn't get to see it on Broadway; however, I wish I had seen it. This musical adaptation really takes the movie and adds its own spin. You get the original story and the same moving beats from the first movie but from a different perspective. Sometimes these adaptations don't work. I believe this one did. It is important to keep true to the spirit of original works; however, it is also important to look at these works from different angles and vantage points. Get to the theater and see this movie. Coming from a live events background I fully understand everything Ben Hanlin mentions below - it's truly incredible how much that knowledge can be transferred to activations, product sampling and field marketing. It's not just about your product, it's creating that memorable experience that captivates an audience from the get go which makes the product memorable. We can help you with this at Fizz Experience & WDS (Warehouse Demo Services) whether that be on site at a Costco store or at an event. Get in touch and lets make your vision a reality. #fieldmarketing #experiencematters #productsampling #activations

Specialist in Emotional Intelligence in High Performance environments | Strategic & Transformational Leadership Consultant | Policy and Governance Expert| Stakeholder Engagement Specialist | Neurodiversity Champion
Inertia Creeps has given me the opportunity to challenge myself to understand the challenges facing leaders and organisations in a 'future world of work' (well lets face it it is a NOW world of work). I am increasingly of the opinion that the challenges in work reflect our challenges in society. How do we build connection in a divisive political world. How do we create actual inclusion rather than a tick the box diversity culture. My next episode features a chat with West End star and performance coach Crystal Nicholls. A really cool discussion on the challenges of being a black woman auditioning for roles, of balancing being a mother and a performer, and of the importance for performers to use rejection as motivation. As always thanks to Lowki Culture for their excellence in producing. Check it out and let me know your thoughts. #resilience #highperformance #highperformancehabits #racism #genderequality
“So for me, one of the challenges that I face was that because I am a Black dancer, singer within musical theatre, I always get put up for the same types of roles.” Crystal Nicholls Subscribe to ‘Inertia Creeps’ - https://lnkd.in/eNnrSRkE
