Enstoa is happy to announce the release of Starfish Spaces 1.15! The latest update introduces significant enhancements to improve functionality and user interaction. Our new Matterport integration enables immersive 3D environments, while Azure Maps integration provides advanced navigation and data visualization capabilities. We've refined the user interface, offering improved custom field management and panoramic views at multiple levels. This release also includes important bug fixes, addressing form collapse issues, enhancing URL parameter handling, and ensuring smooth floor plan selection syncing. These updates work together to create a more intuitive, responsive, and visually rich platform that adapts seamlessly to your needs. Thank you to Jenna Barker, Bobby Vorias, Mark Webster, Joe Castner, Mark Hinnenkamp and all the Oracle team for hosting the new US Oracle Construction and Engineering Partner Day out of the impressive Oracle Industry Lab in Chicago. It was an excellent opportunity to learn more about the new sales and go-to-market strategies for FY25, participate in the immersive lab experiences and catch up with the Oracle sales teams. Now, we’ll explore how you stitch together your asset, space, and floor plans to supercharge your asset management system. There are three key elements: ▶︎ Standardization Employing standardized asset categories throughout the portfolio ensures consistent ITM (inspection, testing, and maintenance) programs across each facility and site. Enstoa worked with ASHE and YNHH to establish the Health Care Facility Data Standardization (HFDS) workgroup, and we work with our clients to apply these standards to their asset categorization. ▶︎ Integration Integrating accurate space information from Starfish Spaces into your asset management system enables you to apply that space information to your assets. Further, you can overlay your assets on your floor plans and enable your technicians to use that on their phones and iPads while out in the field. ▶︎ Lifecycle management Track assets and capture data about them from acquisition to operation to decommissioning. Let's look at Pillar 3 - Asset Collection to use that rich space information. ▷ Today, if you want to know where a specific asset is located in your facilities, do you have to ask that one guy who knows? Or do you have to break out your reading glasses and scan a dizzyingly long spreadsheet for it? You're not alone. ▶︎ We help you use the accurate space information from pillar 2 to pinpoint the precise location of assets—HVAC, medical gas, generators, AHUs, fire extinguishers, and more—throughout every sq ft of your facilities. ▶︎ Once you have accurate drawings for every floor, building, and site in your portfolio, you can use them to pinpoint the location of your assets. ▶︎ Then, you use this opportunity to run a complete asset collection from the ground up or validate assets against a known information set. In either case, this affords the opportunity to develop a complete register of assets, pinpoint the precise location on your floor plans, and tag them with a barcode or QR code to access information about them quickly in the future.
