PET Registrations for Contouring Whenever we have a PET scan registered with our planning CT, we’ll have a GTV PET contour (red outline in video). When checking plans, I’ll verify this contour is covering the avidities in the PET scan. If I see any avidities that aren’t contoured, I’ll ask the physician and make sure they were purposefully excluded. Usually it was by design.
