Rounding up our week of women in engineering in recognition of #InternationalWomenInEngineeringDay, meet Khadija Idris. A dedicated engineer whose STEM journey began with a wind turbine competition in secondary school. Despite challenges during COVID-19, she earned her mechanical engineering degree from Monash University and a master's in project management from Curtin University. Starting her career in safety systems for the mining industry, she now excels as a graduate engineer in Perth. Inspired by problem-solving and driven to make a positive impact, her recent accomplishment includes graduating with her master's and being celebrated by her team. Her advice to aspiring women engineers: don't be daunted by the gender gap. Believe in your abilities and strive to be a role model. https://lnkd.in/gi_-WcFm #INWED #WomenInEngineering #EngineeringExcellence #CareerInspiration #TeamEnerMech #WomenEmpowerment
