🚀 Tianlong-3 Rocket Crash: Space Pioneer's Liquid-Propellant Technology Under Scrutiny, China 🚀 In an unexpected turn of events, the Tianlong-3 rocket crashed during a ground test on Sunday, marking a significant setback for China’s commercial rocket sector. The incident, which took place in Gongyi City, resulted from a structural failure that caused the rocket’s first stage to detach from the launch pad. Key Details: Location: Gongyi, Henan Province, China Incident: Accidental launch due to structural failure Outcome: Rocket crashed 1.5 km southwest of the test platform, disintegrating upon impact Safety: No injuries reported as area was evacuated Space Pioneer's Response: Space Pioneer attributes the accident to a failure between the rocket body and the test platform. Despite this setback, the company’s successful launch of the Tianlong-2 in April 2023 demonstrates their potential and ambitions in the commercial space sector. Implications for China’s Space Ambitions: This incident comes at a crucial time for China’s space ambitions, highlighting the risks associated with advancing space technology. As Space Pioneer works to investigate the failure and enhance safety measures, the resilience and innovation of China’s space industry will be pivotal. Firing Japanese ground lasers into space! A Japanese startup in collaboration with an Australian company plans to vaporize space debris using terrestrial lasers. According to Soraya, a Japanese startup called EX-Fusion in cooperation with EOS Space (EOS Space) of Australia is developing a laser system to remove them from the earth's orbit to deal with the problem of space debris. EX-Fusion, an Osaka-based startup, plans to create a ground-based laser system to help remove space debris from Earth. If successful, this innovative approach could be a valuable way to clean up the cluttered space around planet Earth.
