Today is World Hypertension Day. The aim of the day is to educate the public and increase awareness of hypertension, which is commonly known as high blood pressure. 🌡️ Hypertension is a major cause of a range of health problems such as strokes, heart attacks, and kidney disease. It can also contribute to dementia. 🌡️ Many people who suffer from hypertension are not aware that they have it as there can be no symptoms. Most often, people find out after suffering a heart attack or stroke. 🚩 Hypertension is a silent killer, and we can only tackle it appropriately when we know our blood pressure. ❤️ I passed by my factory clinic this morning to have my blood pressure checked. ❤️ Save a heart by having your blood pressure checked and encourage others to do the same. You do not need to go to a clinic or hospital to have it done as the checks are done in most pharmacy shops. ❤️ We only have one life, so let us take care of it.
